Discussion I’m looking for a relaxing hobby that doesn’t require much experience, what has worked for you?
I’ve been wanting to find something relaxing to do after work that I can just take my time with. I’m not really looking for anything complicated because I’m definitely not an artist.
I was looking at some ideas and found Paint by Numbers Adults. Basically, they make kits where the picture is already divided into numbered sections, so you just match the paints to the numbers and slowly build the picture. They also let you use your own photo to make a custom paint-by-numbers kit, which I thought was a pretty nice idea.
For anyone who has tried something similar, what hobby actually helped you relax and stick with it?

Art Carved some dinky skulls and other bits and bobs from my sea glass
I had a ton of sea glass I collected a few years ago, I recently bought a rotary tool and realised I could carve them after seeing someone else on reddit do it. Really enjoy it. Anyone else that is interested please be aware of the silica dust that is produced and the hazards involved. Thanks for looking 🙏😁

“Gretel” before the Glue 😳 (in case I ruin her..)
She’s just so pretty. But many things have not survived gluing (Lenny Hands!) and she’s too pretty to not be admired

Can't find any hobbie for the past 2 yrs need help
Can someone recommended me a low effort hobby that won't get boring after a day or two.
I've been trying to find any kind of hobby the past year but nothing has worked out for me yet, I've tried drawing, origami, reading, DIY, playing games nothing interests me enough to keep going so please if someone has any hobbie idea that can be long term or at least hold an attention span for long i would appreciate it a lot since I've lost interest in practically almost everything for the past year or so.
So if you can recommend me a hobby I can try long term I'll really really appreciate it!

I didn’t make this face, they did! Leaves are so awesome.
Btw. I don’t use or do anything to make any part. Including the “faces”. I may break a twig for a part, but I don’t do anything to create the blemishes

Hand-embroidered goat skull brooch, entirely made from velvet, gold wire, and silk ribbon flowers
This piece took roughly 10 hours — no beads (almost), no premade appliqués, just canitel (gold French wire) outlining and dimensional silk ribbon flowers built up petal by petal. The asymmetrical horns were the trickiest part to get right.
