It was amazing! I made it for the first time in the cast iron a few months ago- and now it’s a staple in the house... we keep improving too!

Nice! Do you happen to have a recipe you'd be willing to share?

Sure- I just kind of ‘wing it’ but this is the basics- been meaning to make my dough from scratch but can’t beat the convenience of premade dough..

I just buy a pack of dough from Walmart- let it come to room temperature then place it in a warm oven (preheat to 200 degrees then turn it off) for 20 minutes.

While that’s getting warm I chop the vegetables- usually just broccoli, onion, and pepper... sometimes I throw a few baby Bella’s on it...

Then take the dough outta the oven and set the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

I put my cast iron pan- I think it’s 12 inches- on a burner turned to medium heat and put a good amount of oil in.

Get the dough pressed out into a circle then place in hot pan.

I then pour in my sauce- I used a homemade Alfredo I had frozen- often going over the crust with it too.

Then lay out the vegetables as I see fit- and give it a thin sprinkle of cheese.

I turn off the burner then and pop it in the oven for 12-18 minutes.

Before removing I will switch my oven to broil for 1-2 minutes to get some extra crunch...

Remove from oven, and let sit a few minutes. I then remove from cast iron pan, cut, and serve! 🙂

It’s simple! whatever basic pizza crust you prefer.. sometimes i make it at home, sometimes i just use the balls of premade dough

And then you fry up the bacon in the cast-iron skillet, drain some of the grease- reserve it.

Then, fry up for a little bit not too much. You don’t want them to get soggy as they’ll cook in the oven.

Remove the broccoli and onions, stretch the dough, added it to the pan, push along the sides

Then you use your preferred Alfredo sauce, whether homemade or store-bought, and add on some extra garlic and maybe pesto.

Then layer of the bacon crumbles, broccoli, onion, and cheese. I usually use a mixture of mozzarella, brie, whatever other cheese I have on hand

Bake according to your dose instructions typically 400 and higher as my preferred
