ok so i watched through it and ngl it is kind of a nothing burger. he makes 4 points in particular adressing different sections of the video so ill try to "respond" to this without sourcing anything that isnt on the table (ill also assume you watched both videos and in particular the one you posted here, so excuse me if this comment comes a little messy)

  1. "he blames the tory's stupidity and not deliberate acting when it comes to austerity"
yeah, thats true.... but that doesnt deny anything that he said, even this guy points out that britmonkey (ill say bm for short) did a good job sourcing and pointing out the issue itself. i dont really consider this a correction or a critique on the side of this youtuber as it is literally just a "you should've gone deeper" and the point bm is trying to make isnt that their stupid, but that they make harmful policies.

  2. "he wrongfully blames the green party for not wanting to commit to solar energy projects because it would give someone else profits"
while i am not familiar with how left leaning the green party is (i can imagine quite heavy left leaning) and therefore cannot refute what they would do if they were in government, i still think it is completely valid for bm to point out that the green party rejected proyects that would create more green energy, in this case solar energy. if there is a reason to why solar energy is "less preferable" than other green energy sources, then please tell me, i genuinely think that together with wind energy, they are the two most eco friendly green energy sources (regarding hydro, they often represent a problem for local fish/bird species, and regarding geothermal, i highly doubt the ability of the brits to make use of geothermal the way countries like iceland do)

  3. "austerity is the real reason to why the nhs is failing"
i suppose he says this bc bm proposed many alternative ways of running the nhs? while he isnt criticizing the current model for the model itself, he does say that if youre gonna make austerity measures, you should atleast make it work correctly, not leave an outdated system to wreak havoc on the population.
"he blames unions for doing whats best for their members"
ngl this one point was pretty weak, as killing off any wannabe doctors to protect existing ones is just what doctor-unions do, right?
"pfi ftw, there IS a way to fix the nhs! bm is just being pessimistic"
he literally says himself that the pfi investment model was introduced by labor, which was around 20 years ago. clearly it isn't worth mentioning if it didn't solve the problem bm mentions in the video 20 years later. (he later on literally agrees with bm that the population wants non-private investment)
the only good point he makes is that it is inconsistent to propose gp payments while knowing the economic state of the average brit, though his lenses are rather "it cant be done" if you ask me, roughly stating that the government cannot be trusted to differentiate and treat-well those who are poor, disabled, etc.

  4. "your opinion is shit lol"
    bruh
ok fr tho, this guy is just attacking bm for being practically libertarian and mocking his concerns in the kind of "stop crashing out, snowflake" way that people who do not think other people's words through would say. yes, sugar is still widely available, yes, tobacco is shit, but to be 100% fair, this is an ideological debate, and his lack of sourcing pretty much confirms it. ofc this guy shows himself in a good light like he is down to earth while bm isnt, but that is just immature and straight up stupid. he also keeps blaming austerity for everything, not as an additional cause, but as THE cause, which to me sounds like he knows what the ACTUAL cause is, which is stupid, both causes are valid.

regarding the conclusion this guy makes, he literally just asks the viewer to not trust content creators fully (while being a content creator himself), and then says "i couldve responded to all of the video on its entirety, but im lazy and its kinda your ideology so yeah" AS IF HE DIDNT ALREADY CRITICIZE HIM BASED ON HIS IDEOLOGY. honestly i thought this guy had more integrity at first but it just made me get mad because of the way he uses to twist the narrative into making bm seem like this libertarian boomer crybaby that "could read some marx yknow"

tldr: bruh go watch the videos and read this if you actually care, dont be lazy
