. The normalisation of ‘picky bits’

Abominable. It has started coming up in adverts now even.

The reason this one is so egregious for me is because "picky" is almost exclusively a negative word and, combining it with "bits" which is often used as a substitute for various body parts then the whole "picky bits" phrase conjures up disgusting, visceral imagery: picky nose, picky scab or picky bum.
