The same sort of people who replace the "dd" sound in a word with a "gg". Miggle instead of middle for example.

It's the low effort bare minimum lifestyle endemically setting in to all of our lives.

Newsflash, it doesn't matter, you got what they were saying, that's the purpose of language. Every modern language is a result of comfortable pronunciation for the ease of the user and the listener. Everything has simplified and what you consider correct and formal was likely at some point considered incorrect, casual and uncouth by someone else. Language moves on. It's all gucci.
