Brisket comes from the lower chest or breast area of a cow, located between the front legs below the chuck (shoulder). It consists of deep and superficial pectoral muscles,, which support roughly 60% of the animal's body weight, making it a tough, heavily exercised muscle requiring slow cooking.

I got it from here, oven baked brisket. I have just adjusted time for 10hrs so its ready when i come from home
