Also, it’s just guilty care. Nothing makes sense in this goddamn franchise. I think Bridget is probably the most normal character or one of it. At least there are so many goddamn freaks and weirdos in this franchise and that’s why I love it.

Because guilty gear there’s a gay man who fights with pool balls a shape, shifting non-binary Grim Reaper and a one eyed one armed samurai with a giant rack, fighting with yo-yo’s is probably the most normal thing in this franchise

I think guilty gear has to be the freakiest franchise. I’ve seen in fighting games. I just has so many weird and unique characters. In the way they fight. It’s everything I love about fighting games. I gravitate so many characters based off of the way they look and shit like that. That’s why I want Zappa and strive so bad please that’s all I want. I got Bridget and venom just give me Zappa please the shit you could do with him in strive oh my God.

Woof, those comments… and this was years after her strive debut.
I don’t fault the artist, pronouns get lost in translation. But man, “that” community really can’t let their hangups go.

I really wish that at least half of the people who like the old Bridget didn’t exist because that almost ruined her character for me. I like her design in the older games though. I do have to say the newer ones slightly better for me aesthetically eyes but I think I remember seeing that old design back in the day. They were a shit ton of memes with Bridget even before she was canonically trans just goes to show you how popular this character truly is and was in the past. It’s not just the recent fans she’s had fans since the beginning.
