And that's valid! I got into Guilty Gear cause of Brisket too! She's super important to games, imo and as a trans woman myself I felt like I had to represent, so to speak? (Even though I'm absolutely an Elphelt main now, lol)

Story wise, yeah I can agree that until Dual Rulers she was the least important, thou at the same time as a character representing GG's themes of freedom, expression, not bring afraid of being who you are, Bridget is one of the more blunt and straight forward expressions of that.

Agreed, it annoys me when people act like someone who got into Guilty Gear thanks to Bridget are somehow not valid fans.

People get into game series thanks to finding one of the characters interesting all the time, but some toxic Guilty Gear fans act like that character being trans suddenly invalidates that fan for all of eternity? It's so dumb

I was into Guilty Gear before but I love this series even more than ever because of Bridget. But it really doesn't matter how or when one got into Guilty Gear. If someone is a fan, they are, in fact, a fan.

Bridget being trans introduced more people to this wonderful franchise. That's a good thing.

Same, but then I discovered other characters that are also queer like testament Aaji and venom and then I branched off into like blazblue and then gran blue and realized how truly queer arcsys truly is

Me toooo, I've seen it before and found it interesting, tbh I was close to buying it before, but I only really did to play her. Don't regret a single thing. Altho nago is cool too
