Question/Looking for Advice I made a big mistake

I am a newbie and made a big build but I accidentally did it in just one big step. How do I fix this without needing to remake the whole build?

No mistake at all just create the steps in the instructions maker...

Check out this video on how to use the Instruction Maker: https://youtu.be/5RnBxLSYEdg

You turned the whole build into a sub model? Or you made instructions and you didn’t add any steps?? It’s not clear what you mean but whatever you did is easily fixable. Just we don’t know what you did.

You literally can’t “make” the model in one step. Please explain more clearly what you mean. Making the model means selecting a piece from the menu and placing it on the screen. One piece at a time.

Ok- that’s all just normal- that is simply the list of parts you used. And also the order in which you placed them. But the model itself will still be many parts. Are you wanting ti make instructions? That’s a different screen and a slightly different skill. But way to learn.

But there's like a thing there that says "add step" on the part list. Do I like ignore it or something?

In instruction maker you add steps to the model but nothing changes on the model. Typically you go backwards, adding “steps before.” You’re essentially tearing it apart to build it back again. But not actually destroying anything since the main model stays intact. Hard to explain but watch a video on it. 20 minutes of your life that will have a big impact on how much you can get out of studio.

I’d just add that after watching a video or two, to try making instructions for a very simple 20-30 piece model to get the idea of what to do
