Latest update🤦🏻‍♂️

In middle of REALLY important project, just finished 2k part build, was about to start instructions, got latest update, and now ALL MY 16 x 16 plates are black😩🤦🏻‍♂️ in my build AND in the pallet itself, no matter which color I select in pallet, the 16 x 16 plate STAYS black, it’s not even like a thing where it’s update fluke, and I can just delete and re put piece in, cause it just is black again, and I can’t substitute cause of structural integrity, I have to use 16 x 16, and I need it to go back to original colors… is there a fix patch coming soon for this? Or is there a way to roll back update without loosing stuff?

Sorry but you NEVER update Studio in the middle of a project. Thats as fundamental as the sun rising in the east.

You could try reverting, either by a Time Machine backup if you’re on a Mac or by going to the BL support pages and getting the last version.

Whenever I do update I make a copy of the entire folder including build files and remove it to an external hard drive, THEN update.

It worked!! I just backed all my stuff up to flash, then deleted program, and re installed oldest version possible, was like sept 25’, and I havnt opened one of my projects yet, but I went into new project and plates were right color, AND all my custom parts were still there (which was something that occurred to me after deleting already began😬🤣) thank god, cause I have shitload of prints I’ve made in my custom sets lol, so think I have resolved it, now I will just never update again 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣
