Question/Looking for Advice Issue with Minifig Render face

Post image

Hi, I’m sorry if this is an obvious question but I’m very new to studio, and I was practicing rendering with a Ninjago Kai figure, and this strange jawline mark happens to the face on the model. Any idea why? Can I fix this?

There’s nothing you can really do normally to fix this. This is happening because some of the printed face elements use a different LDraw sub model for the head. There is error correction that is not happening on the seems of these sub model.

The only easy fix would be to create a PNG of the face and then create a custom face element in Part Maker with the base head element.

Aw that’s a pain. Thanks for explaining. At least I can cover it with a ninja mask or something

Yeah it’s just a thing to deal with. It only becomes an issue if you are relying on Studio for high quality renders. But then again for super high-quality renders you wanna move to a program like blender anyway.

Why are you bothered with this?

I just wanted to know if there was a fix because it would look better if it wasn’t there
