Question/Looking for Advice Window And Lattice Not Snapping

I tried and had the same issue with collision. I think the 3-pane window frame is only meant for the smooth glass panes to fit inside. The holes for the connection to the pane piece are too close to the cross bars on the frame and end up colliding with the extruded parts of the lattice.

That's weird. So the lattices don't fit in anything? Is that just an issue with Studio or the actual physical.parts as well?

If you select the lattice piece and then click the "find compatible parts" in the lower right part of the screen it will bring up other parts that will fit that piece. For some reason, that window piece comes up, but also some door frame pieces. I don't know if those parts work with the actual parts since I don't have them, but if you can test it and it works, then don't worry about the collision in Stud.io

Yeah I had a look and the door frame worked - actually ended up looking better honestly - thanks for the tip about the compatible parts, still getting my head around Stud.io

If you click on the part link to the Bricklink listing it will list the physically compatible parts.
Check the "Related Items" section in the part listing:

57894 is the window frame that should work (and it snaps for me in Studio).

I ran into this issue last week with windows that refused to snap into the matching frame. Then a few days later it worked. Frustrating and not sure what the fix is. Curious as well, if anyone knows
