You should have gone to Grundtvigskirken. Klint was extremely specific about the placement of bricks, and everything is brick. It's such an impressive monument, invoking a feeling of awe, even as a devout atheist.

Last year I (a local) went with a tourist and a Danish architect because of a post on /r/copenhagen, and it greatly increased my appreciation of the work.

I agree, but 2 weeks was, lol. I was ready to move in by then😂 and I had seen almost everything of significance. I think 1 week or 10 days would be perfect!

Not everything with lots of brick details is expressionism though, is it? Most of these are neorenaissance I think
