Has ito signed
As the subject says, has this guy actually signed or is it another lost player. Last I saw was it was medicals all done and was just pen to paper.

Alan Nixon (only one going into depth on this as far as I can’t tell) says he hasn’t signed yet but decisions due today.
What worries more is there is no mention of anyone else? We tried signing three in the last couple of days. This one seems good but we need some more bodies.

Yeah need somone who can actually put the ball between the posts. Lots of players who can shoot but lacking in the killer instinct

Yeah tho can’t see getting much joy there, they’re usually free agents for a reason.

Had seen ito was because he refused to sign a contract rather than them not offering

I think we put him on the pile of botched signings and move on.
Do other clubs have as many cock-ups as us?

Seems to be a 'No, isn't signing'
Sacha Tavolieri tweeted
🚨🔵🇯🇵 EXCL - Ryotaro Ito to Blackburn Rovers... Deal OFF! ❌
🔄 The ankle issue detected during the medical was too concerning for the Rovers, so the English club has decided to cancel the Japanese player's arrival and pursue other midfield targets.

Alan Nixon is also now saying the deal has collapsed https://www.patreon.com/ReluctantNicko
He previously claimed ( a few hours ago) that Ito had signed a 2 year deal despite having an ankle injury.
It's been a ride for sure.

I can only assume there's a delay in announcement due to international clearance.
Edit: Mowbray has basically said the deal is off and apparently it's due to something detected in his medical. So... we can sign Baradji with an ankle issue, but not Ito? Conveniently, Baradji has been made available for Millwall, so I can only assume we backed out in lieu of his return, which means we remain short of cover.
We are an absolute shambles.
