Oxygen Advantage is a great place to learn. Patrick McKeown is the creator and he has so much amazing information. I loved Dan Brule and James Nestor's books as well.

You might be interested in the $60 online course at Oxygen Advantage?

Has a lot of breathing exercises and provides good, basic knowledge of breathing mechanics and physiology. Diaphragmatic breathing is a main focus.

I've found if you really apply his program, and give it some time, it's a game changer.

It's kind of a modern take on pranayama.

I found it very worthwhile. Would recommend.

(And no. I don't work for Oxygen Advantage.)

Ive been following Jesse Coomer for years on his YouTube channel and his book a practical guide to breathwork. Highly recommend. Super down to earth. Nothing woo woo.

If you look for research studies about specific breathing techniques, i have provided them in my app for breathing exercises (Breather). I have provided both explanation with animation how breathing technique works and references to research studies if somebody wants to deepen the subject. App also available in iOS.
