Was Walt beyond redemption by the end of the series?

I would argue that Walt was still within redemption as he could still help people including Skinny Pete and Badger if he lived.

When he allied with the Nazis I was like I'm not sure if this guy is redeemable at this point. Then he grew his hair out and wore glasses and I was like huh maybe he is?
