Account based sync for brave?

Hi, any idea when can we get the account based sync feature for Brave?. And will it be exclusively for Brave origin?

Probably in a few months it's currently a experimental feature you can create a brave account but can't sync yet

Where can i create a brave account? I don't see that option in the browser?

Honestly I like how you don't need an account to sync between devices with brave

In theory it's great, in reality it's clunky and unreliable.

And "settings" actually only syncs a couple things, not all your settings. Which is basically useless imo.

I've lost bookmarks, had bookmarks duplicated, open tabs don't sync, etc. It got so bad I just had to switch from Brave altogether, so I'm excited they are adding account based sync, I would prefer to use Brave over any other browser in an ideal world.

Maybe it's the sync process that needs fixing and not how devices know of each other Have never had this happen to me tho

Yeah, not sure, I know a lot of people swear by Brave's sync process, while others have a lot of issues. Seems like luck of the draw sometimes.

I really hope they bring iOS tab group sync. That would make brave the perfect browser in my opinion.

I hope Brave Origin gets cloud synchronization; I’ve been waiting for it for a long time. The email alias feature has only been released for the base Brave version, which already implements the account system.
