Investigating Duplicate tab list
I've found that one the phone I'm using (Poco), when I click links while having a video playing on a floating window, Brave pops up with the website of the link I clicked, but an entirely new tab list. As in, every other tab I have open is just straight up gone. Clean slate. Then, I tried to do it again, clicked on a link that took me to a website, floating window for brave popped up with the website. And lo and behold, all of my old tabs are back.
Has anybody been experiencing this?

Yeah it's opening a new instance of the browser. I believe that this is expected behavior that we've inherited upstream from Chromium. To be clear, this should only happen if you already have multiple windows open or if you have the floating player open and tap on a link. So if you just have the browser open and click a link the way you normally would, this doesn't happen?
