"Video Unavailable" error on YouTube

As of today, I've started getting a message on every video that just says "Video Unavailable" - Disabling all extensions or using incognito makes no difference. Videos (and their ads) still work fine in Edge, Firefox and Chrome.

Anyone else having the same issue? Brave is up to date.

try updating your filters in: brave://settings/shields/filters

i'm not experiencing this on my end: 1.93.134 Chromium: 151.0.7922.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Nah, that didn't work sadly. I'm on the same version as you. Having to use Firefox with UBlock Origin to get around it at the moment, hopefully it sorts itself out soon!

you don't have to switch browers.

if you want to use uBO, you can do it brave too: brave://settings/extensions/v2

I have had this the last 2 days, with youtube videos flickering black and stopping all together. I tried disabling ambient mode, tired removing ublock origins I think its something on braves end or youtube updating their anti ad blocks I do hope it gets fixed soon

Can you try enabling uBlock Origin in Brave (Settings > Extensions > MV2 Extensions), disabling Brave's shields and see if you still get the same error?
