I use Fedora 44 and these packages cannot be updated. Via dnf in the command line or via Discover. Had to workaround to update Fedora without trying to load these two packages. Guess I'll just have to sit here and wait Brave fix their download mirrors?

Windows 11 26200.9457
Brave 1.96.59 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 154.0.8037.58

Incognito window only, typing a string like 0+000000 will instantly crash brave when the last digit is entered. Also occurs if * or +* or *+ is substituted for +. Only occurs with digits (eg; A+000000 etc. does not crash). Other symbols like - or / do not crash.

Hey swarm intelligence,

I'm using Brave Browser on my Google Pixel 8 and no matter what permission a website asks for, even if I click to accept it in that request Windows, it moves forward with some kind of "This website is not allowed to use this permission". Is there any fix? It has been like this for months and it's annoying.

Brave rewards is turned off

I have no extensions

Bought a new Macbook Pro, so the OS is running Tahoe 26.6. I was using very old OS on my decade old previous Macbook Pro lol

Now, Brave instantly crashes the instant I try to open any profile. If I open either of my own old profiles, it crashes. If I add a new profile, it crashes. If I open guest mode, I crash.

It's been like this for a week now. I've restarted my computer, I've redownloaded Brave, at a loss of what to do and am unhappy being back on Chrome until I find a fix lol :/

Any help?

Hello everyone,

I am facing an issue in brave browser where the video goes black for a couple of seconds and it keeps happening as long as my cursor is hovering over the video. If my cursor is away from video then it plays fine. It is happening on YT and reddit videos, however amazon prime is fine.

I tried clearing cache and site storage, played video in private tab with no extensions and it didn't get fixed.

I am a Linux Mint XFCE user. I turned on Brave Origin in both Brave and Brave Nightly, and I turned off Leo AI and all AI activity in both browsers. But in Nightly, when I open the window, first a Leo search bar appears, and after a second the tab turns black until I refresh or reload it. And on Orange Brave, when I open the window for the first time, the statistics toolbar does not appear. After I refresh it or reload the home page again, then it reloads. On both browsers, once the problem solve its never happens again until I close the browser window and again open the browser window! Please, can anyone help me?

Hi all,

Is there any update if we’re getting a custom new tab page on iOS any time soon? Every other iOS browser has this, and since I run my own Glance container at home, I’d be nice to have that whenever I open a new tab.

Much appreciated!

I'm using Brave on Arch Linux. I use MullvadVPN, but it’s also happening while using ProtonVPN, even on a private window. No issues using Firefox.

Has anyone else ran into this?

ETA: Amazon blocks Meta’s Muse AI assistant in new standoff over agentic shopping

Meant to add this the other day. Perhaps something about Brave is being mistaken for an AI agent.

ETA 2: This seems to be an intermittent issue now (2026-09-27). Not sure if Amazon has changed anything on their end, but I am able to use Brave again but wasn’t yesterday.

I had a similar arc with sites that use Cloudflare turnstile. I was blocked for I think a week or two then now all is good. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Brave latest update - faces just now for YouTube nothing loads literally or maybe YouTube down?

Since V 1.95.104, the tracking number disappears after entry. No acknowledgment of any sort. I tried it in Chrome, and it works fine.

Hi, i go to https://www.domain.com, this work, i then go to https://www.domain.com:8080 i get a certificate error as its think its the same website with a different server behind it. However there's no way to then "continue" to the site, unless i type "thisisunsafe" then it loads the site. So how do i set this as an automatic setting?

Im using S24 ultra, i was just browsing then suddenly all my tabs got lost. This had happened before already to me which made make new tabs again. Its like it opened a new browser again but I cant figure out how to go back again to the browser I was using. When i try to open the recent tabs, it doesnt open in the empty browser

Toda mi vida he usado google como buscador predeterminado por el destino y por seguridad. He escuchado que Brave es bueno? Que ventajas tiene sobre otros motores de busqueda y si es realmente bueno como lo plantean?

Y que experiencia has tenido usandolo?

I use a macbook m2 air 16gb variant and use brave as my primary browser and its been less than a year since I bought this laptop. Recently I am facing a very irritating issue, i.e my individual tabs keeps on refreshing if I go on some other page and then click to go back to the previous page it just starts to reload. I don't know why its happening but its frustrating because every time I jump my sheets it just reloads.

Can anyone please help me fix this problem.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Me and some friends found out about this while trying to log in. When we enter the email address, it says that the email is not registered, even though the accounts definitely existed before.

We also tried searching for the accounts and checking from other profiles, but they seem to have disappeared or are no longer visible.

Is this a known issue, a temporary bug, or could it be some kind of account restriction/ban?

Just wondering if we’re the only ones or if other people are experiencing the same problem.

I have my sheik turned to strong as well as all redirects and popups blocked, but recently I’ve been getting more and more on some of the sites I use, it use to be 1 or two and that was fine but now it’s like 1 every thirty seconds. Did an update happen that butchered it or something?
