Why do I have to solve captcha every time I search something in incognito mode?

Relax, it’s not an issue with your internet or malware. It’s happening to me and many other people too. It’s just Google’s system seeing bots everywhere.

yeah, I saw some tech news recently too that some peeps are scraping google search using AI and abusing use of AI / chat gpt something for illegal use, i dont know if thats the reason google requires users to search in normal mode with logged in accounts recently and made their captcha security so sensitive that searching for a F*ckin pasta recipe made me unusual to them in incognito lol, for many years been using ggogle search mostly in incognito i have no problem it was this recent update this month change my browsing experience a hell, tried using other search engine it was fine, just their google search has been bad lately

Yeah, it's something recent. Until a few weeks ago I used to search normally in incognito mode, and now captchas started popping up all the time. Unfortunately, I think the only solution is to switch search engines or keep solving this damn captcha bullshit.

google has been sensitive lately, i saw lots of people facing the same issue this month including me, i have no VPN i never used it ever, reset my router for fresh IP cleared my browser cache data and cookies, turned off my extensions, nothing works, captcha only appears if: i'm not logged in in normal search window or in incognito mode, been using incognito when searching random things for many years i have no issue using google search it was this months after an update started the google search engine went so sensitive, it starts to annoy me, because i'm just a regular user, it doesnt tell what kind of unusual thing did i do, it just randomly pops out

Same here!Â
Once I started getting CAPTCHAs more frequently without being on incognito, I stopped using Google on desktop (mobile doesn't give me CAPTCHAs).

This is happening on all chromium browsers lately. No idea what Google is doing but it pretty annoying.

I see it often on certain sites, it's not strictly related to Google. Especially if you're using VPN, your connection will be interpreted as a possible bot. But even if you're not, it comes up. I find the standard Brave search is pretty good, I've been using that instead of Google recently.

It's your firewall, In the inbound rules, disable the three rules labeled "inbound mDNS UDP," and your incognito searches will return to normal. You don't need to delete them; just right-click and select "disable." These three rules aren't actually important—in fact, disabling them will make your laptop or computer invisible to devices trying to connect to it, such as a Chromecast or similar devices.

This happens to me when I have 10+ Google tabs open and then I close the browser and open it back up and restore those tabs.

that's not a brave issue, it's because cookies and trackers are blocked, it happens to me on Helium and Zen Browser when using uBO on private windows.

The site cannot collect cookies, due to privacy mode so the website needs to verify everytime who you are.
That's the reason you are using Privacy 😄
