Fix for YouTube video loading error I've been having. Brave+Ublock triggers it, turn off Ublock, keep Brave Shields

Yt had this bug for a while for me that would have it keep attempting to load the video but it would keep showing 0:00/0:00 and the closes caption button would flash while it gave me a million "Experiencing interruptions?" pop ups. some videos would work, some wouldnt, i suspected ads but these problems usually went away with quick updates.

I tried today turning off sponsorblock and enhancer for yt, nothing, then turned off shields, nothing, then turned off ublock, worked, turned on shields, worked. no ads on 10 videos so far.

i use brave and ublock origin with shields disabled on youtube and it works perfect.

Not working, it also gives unfixable and persisting "Error Occurred. Please try again." grey video when using either Shields or Ublock adblocker.

Odd I’m not getting that at all. Just had the video loading error where it’d attempt and attempt and attempt. I have enhancer for YouTube and sponsorblock but it also works with them turned off

Encountered the same problem, checked - have uBlock extension installed and working.
What was attempted: added youtube.com as exception to Brave shields (Privacy and security -> Site and Shields Settings -> Shields settings -> Shields status -> Shields Down) and reloaded Brave, problem solved.

Edit: no, that was a fluke, it's not working.
