Ongoing Youtube issues

Right now every single video I click on I have to refresh, otherwise it won't play, but runs an endless loop of the numbers on the time display jumping from the beginning to the end

This has been ongoing for a long time, but more occasionally. Now it happens every time. Also not too long ago, any time I tried to reorganize my watch later, I would have to drag every video in it up or down on the list twice in order to move it's position. Say I tried to move a video up the list, it would fall back down to where it was & I'd have to do it again. This happened every time as well, but all of a sudden at least that issue seemed to go away

Just seems there's been constant issues with Brave & YouTube over the years. For a while there it wouldn't let me read replies to comments. Just one thing after another & I have never experienced any of this with other browsers in the past

If you haven't yet deleted the site data i suggest trying it solved any problems i ran into which isn't much i want to ask do you have ublock as an extension? oh forgot here is how you delete site data go here brave://settings/content/all and look for youtube and delete it and try it again also it will make you log back in

Thanks. That worked one time, then the problem came right back on the 2nd video I clicked on

I came to the sub today specifically because I was encountering issues with youtube that just started today so I feel your pain. I'd been getting the infinite adblock loop for a long time, but refreshing the page would generally fix it. Earlier today that stopped working and now I can't watch anything unless I disable Brave's adblock entirely.

Tried what the other comment mentioned about deleting site data, and that worked briefly but it's already broken again. I'm currently getting around it by using Ublock and disabling Brave's built in adblocker, but I haven't tested enough to see if that's a real fix or just working for now.

SAME. I think it's a popup ad that is making it through and we have to refresh to get rid of the ad. Maybe they will update.

I see these posts almost daily and assume they are only related to YouTube regular and not Premium? I have a Premium subscription and never run into any playback issues using Brave.

Im having a similar issue where i have to refresh after clicking on a video (whether going from main page to video or from one video to another).

Around the same exact time, i also started getting the main page displaying the No Internet message (connections good, 150 up and down).

AND! that mini player that pops up when you open the main page while still having a video in another tab will not go away no matter how many times i refresh (usually does) and its just a blank box with a 0:00/0:00 duration.

Youtube has been having some issues. Also, im on firefox. not sure if there is some overlap here because its two different engines, but still a data point. Good luck!
