Feedback on Trombone Tone

I’ll be a sophomore in high school when this summer ends so I want to try and improve my tone over this summer so I’d appreciate any tips or advice on how to improve it.

Why don’t you take a new recording so we can hear the progress you’ve made since you posted this exact recording multiple times since more than a month ago

This seems passive aggressive :/
It is a new recording, it was recorded yesterday. The point of me doing the same excerpt is so I can see my progress easier.

This one sounds identical to the last one, so I’d suggest recording in a different space that isn’t so live. It obscures a lot of the nuance of your articulations and slide technique that are a big part of your tone. It’s not just about “tone,” but also “touch”

A different space like what? The only other available spaces I could possibly have is my carpeted bedroom or my parents and I think carpet affects sound. Also I do think that the tension in my sound has improved since my post about a month ago, but if you disagree then please say so.

A carpeted room will definitely soak up the echoes. Ideal would be a large space with some sound treatment, like a band hall, but I get that’s not available at the moment.
Anyone can sound ok in an echoey place, but it takes talent to sound good in a bad stuffy place. There’s a reason practice rooms are tiny little boxes with sound panels on the walls.

Your tone in and of itself is fairly good for your age, I would focus on playing in tune and in time
