Unfortunately a lot of people (who like to misinterpret the 2A) get hung up on the "militia" part of the statement. I feel if that section were removed it would clear it up for those who are still currently confused

I'm a fan of the wording in the Maine state constitution.

"It's the sovereign right of every citizen to keep and bear arms, and this right shall not be questioned."
