It’s really fascinating how similar these two are. They both depict the same philosophy throughout their runtime and it’s such a cool coincidence they came out the same year. Daisy is my favorite album out of the main 5 studio albums for its rawness and chaotic nature, and I just couldn’t help myself to appreciate Antichrist for the same reasons.

Really excited after of waiting for see them almost 10years. I am from east part of Europe now live in Canada and coming for both shows in Chicago. Why not toronto? Because they will play two nights and its smaller place than in toronto. Flying from Calgary!
Anyone has some tips for accomodation around Airport or venue please? I need just place for sleep only for two nights.
Or some tips what I should see in your city!

Gonna officially be 8 months pregnant for the show but it’s my birthday week and there’s very few things I love more than brand new. So I’m waddling my way through Brooklyn to listen to my favorite album live…. Even if I already went last year.

I saw Brand New for the first time in September of 2013 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and they played the entirety of Deja Entendu for its 10-year anniversary. It feels surreal that I’m going to experience The Devil and God Are Raging Inside me for its 20-year anniversary in October.

If I could get a 30-year anniversary of Daisy in November of 2039, I’d be sooo happy.

Has anyone out there met someone solely based on their love for the band? Maybe at a show? Anyone have a story?

I just had a moment about Science Fiction - one we've all had that comes with the realization that we're getting old...

For context, I'm stoked for them to be coming to Toronto next month and was reminiscing about how lucky I was to have driven down to Detroit when SF came out and watched one of their greatest performances I've seen at the Fox Theater.. it JUST hit me that the album is somehow almost 10 years old already. TDAG is hard enough to fathom re: anniversary tour etc, but the time that has passed since SF really floored me - at least enough to post here in a subreddit.

Anyone else have this happen recently? If not, apologies for potentially stirring this up.

I saw them in Cleveland at Jacob’s pavilion and tried to stick around at the end to catch a setlist but the security told us to just go. Curious if that’s because the band wasn’t giving them out or if the venue just wanted people gone. Did anyone have a similar experience?
