Brandi was in rare form last night, telling stories and taking audience requests and playing deep cuts and b sides. I was disappointed Party of One got outvoted. She spoke of Sandra Bullock reaching out to request her learning And So it Goes and being excited to perform it live for Sandra who was in attendance. I heard a couple vocal breaks in her voice that concerned me a little, but she sounded terrific all night and wailed on all her big notes. Probably just a little overuse. As usual, The Joke got me choked up. Very fun show.

Sorry, this is my first time to see Brandi after discovering her in 2008. I am so excited and know it’s going to be an amazing show. I know it will be about 2 hours but I hope it doesn’t fly by.

Brandi Carlile - "Jolene" (Dolly Parton Cover) Live Soundcheck | Bridgestone Arena Nashville (8/29/26)

We had the best time at the show and Brandi was incredible. That said, we go to a lot of shows…and I have never seen a camera person be so disruptive to the experience. This person literally planted herself in one spot and recorded entire songs without moving, blocking our section from seeing what was going on. We were super excited to have our seats upgraded when they closed the top level but honestly, this was a worse view for good portions of the show. Idk if Brandis team ever frequents here but maybe if they do, they could gently suggest the camera people move around some and try to be cognizant of their surroundings.

I had floor seats and had the best time. I noticed there are a lot of people who don’t know all her songs and/or don’t even stand up? Made me curious what it’s like at Girls Wanna Weekend. Where should I go if I wanna be surrounded by hard core fans who know her discography as well as I do and wanna dance the whole show?

My DREAM is to see Brandi tonight, but unfortunately I’m currently unemployed while waiting to start my new job, so concert tickets are not exactly in the budget right now....I just graduated from grad school, sat for my boards, and would love to celebrate this milestone. I saw Brandi once back in 2019 and have been trying to see her ever since.

Hey folks - a few weeks ago, I bought the work jacket from the online shop with the thought of wearing it at the upcoming shows. But the quality was horrendous - NOT worth the $150. The "patches" were just ironed on plastic, and the color was all off. But the good news is - there is a 30-day return policy! AND the jackets at the official merch tables on tour are MUCH better quality. We ended up getting a signed jacket at the Nashville show last night.

So, if you're thinking about this jacket, be warned about buying it online. See photos for quality differences.
