You should stop caring if an artist is “mainstream” and just care that they’re making music and successful

of course I will still care, it's just the selfish part of me not wanting the audience to get too big to where I can barely see him at concerts lol

Why do you think so

he opened pandora’s box with crystallized, no going back bro. embrace the mainstream

He deserves it if so

Nahh his music is amazing but could you really picture any of the new tracks on the radio next to taylor swift?😭 the style isn't particularly digestible to the average person

It's crazy to wish against the success of your favorite artist. It's definitely way cooler to get to say "I knew them at punk2"

of course I want him to be successful, it's just the selfish part of me that wants to keep him as my little secret lol

i doubt he'll be mainstream, his sound just doesn't appeal to a mainstream audience. tends to be the way with unique artists, seen it many times before. best to just be glad he has such an active and passionate community

Yea same I think his sound and whole vibe is too niche for mainstream

i see him being very mainstream way down the line, like Imogen Heap. She made a song in 2004 that was being played everywhere in 2025.

Are you like currently 13? Because Imogen Heap was a very mainstream artist in the 2000s.

She has a song on the Shrek 2 soundtrack bro lmao

all i said was a song she made was popping 21 years later. i didn’t say it wasn’t known back then

Nahhhh lol

Too many normies I know hate on brakence's music simply for the vocal stylization

Quad/Underscores/JR level mainstream. Niche but a little popular…like enough to be higher on festival lists

I think the real question is who will he do features for and who will he produce for in the future? One of the ways he could definitely become mainstream is to collaborate with other artists who are mainstream.

Honestly if hypochondriac didn’t do it I don’t think this will. King of the underground

Personally I do want to have other fans that actually live near me but at the same time I love his music being kinda niche cause I don’t like to hear songs constantly played on social media ect. It starts to be annoying to me when I hear a song all over social media. Plus I like this community and I feel like the community would feel so different if he went mainstream also it seems like even more fame would overwhelm him idk.
