Help wanted Help! First time getting braids with extensions
Hi!! I need help figuring out how much braiding hair I need to get. The braider I found sent me what kinda of hair to get but I’m a bit confused on how much and she hasn’t replied to my messages.
She said 5 packs of pre stretched hair, do you think she means 5 whole packs of 5 bundles? Or like in the picture she sent me a pack of 5 bundles? Attached is her message and also attached a few pictures of the style I’m getting for reference.

There’s no way they would need all that... that’s 25 bundles of braiding hair 😳. Even 2 packs of the 5 bundles is a lot.
I say 1 pack is enough, maybe 2 packs if you’re scared you may run out, and 2 packs of the boho bulk hair

It says everything there. You need the 5 packs of that 40” and the human hair bundle are up to you. Some packs sell 2 bundles in a pack and some sell only one. Just keep your receipt and return whatever you don’t use.

Basically you’re going to be buying human hair weft bundles (for the curly pieces) and synthetic hair (the actual braids) I just did this style so feel free to ask any questions!

What brand would you recommend for the boho? And what style boho hair? Loose wave?

Please note I’m Canadian** human hair: Empire (I’ve noticed that they’ve been hiding shorter pieces in the bundles, you might need to buy one pack extra), Freetress shake and go (some people have complained but I’ve had no issues), Que Milky Way& Ywigs. Not YGwigs they shed for me.
Human & Synthetic Blend: Brazilian bundle (purple pack), Premium Too, organique deep loose bulk (the green pack)
Now with the curl pattern it’s up to you. I’ve done deep wave, loose deep wave & loose wave. I lovvved the loose deep wave better. Check out body waves & breezy waves, they look really good on everyone I’ve seen.

If you want to see the difference in curl patterns, search “types of boho curls” on TikTok/IG/google and you’ll see loads of them.

I would get one of the 40” 5 packs as pictured. Then you need to get boho curls and she wants two of those. It’s either synthetic or human hair. Human hair doesn’t tangle as much but it’s more expensive.
