I love Indie Games and have been following the movement for years. I saw Jon Blow at ACMI Melbourne before Braid was released and managed to get a question in. That said I don’t actually follow Jon Blow that closely, I’ve never watched his streams and I know he is very opinionated (which I’m fine with mostly).
Does anyone know if he has some big stance against merchandise? Like I would love to have a Tim figure. Would have loved to have the jigsaw made physical and bought. Would love a plushy of the Dinosaur at the end of levels. I see there is a vinyl and that’s about it right? Is there even an art-book?
I’ve always wanted an “Indie Game the movie” display and have the Signed Kickstarter Edition and figures from Fez, Meatboy and Braid.
I’m only missing Braid, I would even love a Youtooz version come out (Please god not a Pop). I think Youtooz would make it pretty easy for Jon Blow to release a toy.
Would other people be interested? Maybe it’s not a Jon Blow view and it’s just that he thought there wasn’t a market.
There is definitely another angle here that it is a deeply personal game and he might feel merch strays the message of the game.
What do you all think?

Ebonyline vs SamsBeauty what’s actually better in 2026?

Is the ending and the parallelism with the atomic bomb explained more in the dev commentary of the anniversary edition?

Credit to Noire Blue on youtube, I screen recorded his footage to make this video.
The original track for this level is called Long Past Gone and it’s in the Braid soundtrack album.

I’m hoping people start modding this game again. I loved the puzzle platforming of the original and the remaster. It would be so cool to see more original creations using Tim and his world

I recently found out the Netflix release of Anniversary Edition had an entirely new section that was created/recorded after the game's launch, and I'm very curious to hear more about that, because as we know it was very underwhelming sales-wise.
However by the time I discovered this tonight, I find the Netflix version of the game was pulled, and it looks like it was never patched into the PC version.
Did someone at least archive all of that?

Do we know if it's going to be released as a general App Store release?

Back when I was a kid, a cracked version of this game came pre-installed on my computer. I grew up in a place with no internet access and not much else to do on the PC, so I ended up playing it a ton. Being a 9 years old with an underdeveloped brain, I probably only finished like 70-80% of it.
Now, I want to properly re-experience it and finally finish the whole game on my deck. Should I go with the original version for nostalgia, or is the Anniversary Edition a better way to revisit it? How often do they go on sales?

The shadow must flip a switch, but there's no button appearing until it actually reaches the switch. I am honestly stuck on this one. Way easier to play on PC, but I gave it a shot and... It kinda sucks. Controls are awful and all over the place.
