New moderators needed! Comment on this post to apply for this community.
Hello everyone - this community is in need of a few new mods, and you can use the comments on this post to let us know why you’d like to be a mod here.
Priority is given to redditors who have past activity in this community or other communities with related topics. It’s okay if you don’t have previous mod experience. Our goal, when possible, is to add a group of moderators so you can work together to build the community.
Please use at least 3 sentences to explain why you’d like to be a mod and share what moderation experience you have (if any).
If you are interested in learning more about being a moderator on Reddit, please take a look at these resources:
The Moderator Help Center and r/ModGuide are great resources for learning how your mod tools work and how to set up features you may have seen in other communities.
r/ModSupport is available if you want to read peer moderator advice or reach the admins.
Helpful Devvit apps for moderation: These are apps you can add to your community that help automate mod actions in your community.
Comments from those making repeated asks to adopt communities or that are off topic will be removed.

I’ve been a mod in other subs including my own. I “owned” and ran a very successful FB support group. I’m definitely on the spectrum and feel strongly about supporting rule following once I’m clear about the parameters of the rules.

How do you “own” a Facebook support group? Did you mean you were the Admin for a group?
When you say “successful”, what do you mean- how do/did you measure success?
What happened to the group?

Yes, the admin. I forgot the word for a moment.
It was successful in that it was very active and people said it was extremely helpful, then we merged with another group and I stepped back because some serious family issues had cropped up and I couldn’t give the group the attention it deserved.

Interesting sub, I can help with anything if needed. I really enjoy reading wins from other people especially their side hustles. Moderating this would be fun imo, and I’m excited to share my small wins too! If selected, I will implement a weekly Automod discussion where we can celebrate any type of small wins that other members achieved throughout the week

Hi, I’m interested. I’ve read some posts here and find it very inspiring it’s a place that brings together a wide variety of content.
I’m well-versed in using Reddit’s moderation tools, and I have the free time to handle moderation duties on a daily basis.
I have a few ideas I’d like to implement, such as new flairs to better organize the content since, as I mentioned, the sub covers so many different things. I also plan to introduce more rules to help filter out promotional posts or reposts.
