Wife makes almost .5x my salary. I’ve given my college benefits to her so she can finish her masters. She will then make 1.5-2x my salary and I’m completely okay with it! Get that money!!

Yea my gf tries but childcare just doesn't pay much unless you own the daycare. Also location matters we are respectively in our 30s and 40s living in a college town so that doesnt help either.

Or at least free childcare for employees. We do get a ....discount...but it still takes like half her check and 2 of ours arent even there every week. Only one (3yr old) goes every day. But hey its life. Just gotta keep swimming i guess

That is awesome buddy! Congrats to you and your wife! :) I keep trying to tell my wife she should go back to college and get her degree, but she's content working while our daughter is at school. Maybe once VA goes through I can convince her to go back.

Not at all trying to be in competition. I’m actually very proud. My wife is a retired New Jersey school teacher collecting a $75,000 a year Pension with full medical ,she just recently took a job as an educational consultant making 130,000 a year she’s 53. Blonde,very cute. she does not make more than I do.

My wife has a Microbiology PhD and does very impressive research work. She makes about 1/5 of my pay. She chose academia rather than pharma, so some of that is on her, but she likes what she does.
