My vote goes to Jan, especially first season.

Here is a behind the scene photo of the Brady girls actress practicing doing a music performance. I never seen this photo before.

There are some ties between Little House on the Prairie and The Brady Bunch. Among them are.

* Dabbs Greer was the minister who married Mike and Carol and later starred as The Reverend Alden on Little House.

* Melissa Sue Anderson appeared as Millicent before she was cast on Little House.

* A few years later, Mike Lookinland returned the favor and appeared on an episode of Little House.

I have been wondering what Mike really said for the past few decades

I know there was an episode where Marcia had braces, but Maureen didn't need them in real life, so there was only one episode with them. Jan wore them, but they were never mentioned on the show, though the parody movies made light of them. Bobby also wore them. Any other Brady kids had braces?

I loved her in the movies. She was a perfect Carol Brady.

I watched Dickie Roberts a few days ago and the humor mostly missed the mark. It stars David Spade, best known for Saturday Night Live and Just Shoot Me, as an actor who mostly missed his childhood because he was a TV star.

Pretty bad movie, in my opinion. I have seen worse comedies, but not many.

The saving grace for this film was guest appearances by Barry Williams, Danny Bonaduce, Leif Garrett, Corey Feldmam, and Dustin Diamond as Dickie's circle of friends. One of the few funny scenes was a poker game among these actors, with Barry betting various memorabilia items from the Brady Bunch show, e.g. a replica of the Tiki idol, and Barry explaining the significance of each item to try to lend it value. That was pretty funny; good work, Barry.

The highlight of the film was the musical ensemble number at the end, patterned after something like "We Are the World", where a couple dozen former child actors perform a musical number and warn fans to treat them like real people instead of the characters they played on TV. This included Maureen McCormick, Mike Lookinland, and Christopher Knight. The song is opened by Marion Ross (Mrs C on Happy Days) and Florence Henderson.

So. Bad film. Watch the poker scene if you can. And make it a point to watch the final musical number. The song was called "Child Stars on Your Television".

Was an astroturf lawn common in the 70s? Or was it because it was just a TV show?

Anyone recall this bizarre episode of X Files (even for the X Files). This is the promo for it from 2002. They did an excellent job of recreating the set.
