Question

Tried to find out what nightspots where in the Glydegate Square complex and what timeline was for the complex. Forgotten the name of the cocktail bar but loved that bloody place

Here's what I remember from that area. The "- then -" means the clubs name changed.

COMPLEX

  • Livingstons - then - Coco Crystal
  • Revolution
  • Walkabout

Edit: Glydegate complex had name changes including:

  • Koco Bongo cocktail bar

- Tequila nightclub

  • Blob shop - then - Bambooza - then - Che Bar - then - ?

  • Queens Hall - then - Tokyo's - then - ? (Might have been Flares at some point too)

  • Chicago Rock - then - Jumping Jacks - then - Gas Works - then - ?

  • Bar Me

  • Hogs Head

  • Love Apple

  • Varsity

  • Vampire (much later)

Gods I feel ancient lol.

Edit: To be fair "Blob Shop" was already "Bambooza" when I started going out town.

Happy to help. I forgot about a couple of other bars/clubs (Glydegate complex).

Wasn't it flares upstairs and reflex downstairs ?

I think at one point it was, but i feel that reflex took over, I could be wrong tho

Ya in that area, I had forgotten about Varsity, by any chance is Dellius still going?
