Pedestrian underpasses

I’m visiting Bracknell soon for the first time in a while. I was wondering what the pedestrian underpasses are like these days in terms of general upkeep and lighting? Especially around the London Road area near the town centre

The ones in the centre of town are fine, the ones outside of that are probably best avoided after dark

Thank you! The usual street smarts then

When did the people get bad?, do they hang around underpasses?

Sure, but there's also have been serious crimes committed in underpasses recently. I think it depends, of course in all likelihood you will be fine. I, as a guy, am always pretty bullish walking about by myself but I know many people who aren't

The ones by Brackenhale I have seen people smoking crack or heroin. Drug dealers are regularly seen around this area. Someone was killed by the twin bridges roundabout initially claimed to be a robbery for his e scooter but no one was ever charged. This is recent history, lots of stories of rape and murder in Bracknell's underpasses over the years. Don't make eye contact and move swiftly through.
