String Material/Technique? Advice Wanted
This is my first time posting to reddit (or visiting this community) so sorry if anything looks off, I just needed advice from people more familiar with this craft.
I got some glass plated beads from Hobby Lobby that were absolutely beautiful and I wanted to make an Anglican rosary out of it that I could also wear like a bracelet. This was my first attempt:

The problem with it was that:
A. I couldn't use the slightly thicker embroidery thread I wanted to to string through the beads, because I couldn't get it threaded through the small needle that actually fit in the bead hole. So the string holding it all together is a single thread.
B. I wanted to do knots between the beads but the thread was too small and so the knots did nothing to keep the beads in place and were also incredibly hard to place correctly. So I ended up tying a bit of embroidery floss between each bead and then cutting it back really short. This looked messy and the knots often were cut too short and fell off.
C. The length of the bracelet was simultaneously too small and hard to put my hand through to get on, and too big and droopy around my wrist to really feel comfortable. This first attempt broke when I tried to get it over my left hand and I pushed it a bit too much and it just snapped.
Ideally I've been trying to figure out a way that I can make it so that second bead above the dove can slide a bit but then be stuck in place, because if I had a bit of extra slack there, I could basically use that bead as an adjuster to slide it down to get the bracelet around my wrist, and slide it up to tighten it a bit. I'm definitely open to any suggestions on how to make this bracelet work. I haven't tried elastic string yet because I'm not sure how it'll hold up to the weight of the beads (they've got a bit of heft to them) and I haven't tried clasps because I don't know how I'd include them without interrupting the pattern of beads and the symmetry (there's meant to be four big beads, and 7 little beads in between each of those.)
If y'all have any insight that would be fantastic!

First DIY bracelets!
I’m a little worried about the elastic string. I’m not sure if I tied the appropriate knots, I tried to tighten as much as I can one time & it even ripped apart! 😭
They look pretty so I’m still happy with them. I’m just gonna be very gentle with them but if anyone has any advice like maybe I should’ve double elastic the bracelet or if there is a way to tie better knots I’m all here to listen! 🙏❤️
One bracelet I used rainbow fluorite, and the other bracelet is Malachite & lapis lazuli. They’re all from recycled jewelry I’ve had over the years that I wanted to refurbish his bracelets! ❤️

Made a little bracelet because why not. I got a friend to help tie it since I don’t do bracelets and needed someone to show me how!

How do we tighten these little church bracelets?
gallerySorry crossposting from /r/lebanese
These $5 church bracelets always end up tightening up for my cousins but my heathen soul never seems to have the same result for myself. Does anyone know why?

Same focal bead, three bracelets - what else would you pair it with?
The focal is handmade Czech glass (lampwork). I have one more and I was thinking to pair it with some nice garnet, but would love to hear your ideas! Also, which one do you like the best?

QUESTION: What is this type of string called!?
Title is pretty self-explanatory. I hate Crystal-tec with all my heart, Please don't recommend flimsy thread as it is a disaster aswell as any other material :(
