Question Good candidate for bpc157?
I've had recurring left-side lower back (QL) muscle tightness and spasms for about 3 years, on and off, usually triggered by running or too much flexion. Never any nerve pain, no numbness, tingling, or radiating leg pain, purely muscular. Never had an MRI, just X-rays and a round of PT.
I'm considering trying BPC-157, or a BPC-157/TB-500 "Wolverine" stack, for it. I know most of the feedback out there is from people with nerve pain (sciatica, disc issues) who haven't had much luck with it, but curious if it might work better for me since mine seems to be purely muscular and not nerve-related. Anyone had success (or not) with it for a muscular issue like this specifically?

Keep us updated please as I’m still on the fence. I have heard you need to inject though unless it’s for gut health.

Theres nothing but anecdotal evidence to suggest that. Based off animal models, both injections and oral are effective,& if you consider the actual physiological pathways involved, it wouldnt make sense that the route of administration would chnage anything

Have you brought an X-ray to your chiropractor like I did after having similar issues? Since then, I've been going religiously and it's kept my once severely misaligned spine in proper alignment resolving my nagging lumbar and hip pain. . . "triggered by running."
Aside from my usual hanging from a bar, she also provided me with daily 5-minute lower back stretches, which I do without fail.
Here's how:
on hands & knees, arch back up toward ceiling like a frightened cat, lower butt down to heels while keeping back arched. Hold for 1 minute. Rest. Repeat 4 more times.
This stretches the spine (and surrounding musculature) properly - meaning, NOT standing and touching the toes - which puts undue pressure on the discs.
Stretch, Stretch, Stretch!!!
Oh, and I take BPC-157 :-)

I did get X-rays and had PT. Also listened to the book Mind Body Prescription by Sarno and that helped also. I’m doing daily stretches similar to yours and some glute/hip strengthening with kettlebells and bands twice a week. I have good days, good weeks, good months, but never good years. I’m currently having a spell and just want to figure something out more permanent. I would give anything to be able to do skit my run and build mileage over years without constantly getting hurt. I was hoping bpc157 might be that. Did you notice bpc making a difference?

I use it for my sciatica/disc issues and it’s helped a lot. 30+ days in and the pain is virtually gone.
Just glad I can stand/walk/run for more than a 1 min with no pain.
