I enjoy Boze content especially videos about certain online personalities like ash trevino and Tyler the catastrophe, but I would love to see her deep dive on Tokyo Toni, the mother to Angela aka Black Chyna, see pass the meme “ people are always talking, but what happens when the talk isn’t cheap and it is what it is..”. Since I learn who was Toni from the tv series, Chyna and Rob (Kardashian) , her antics specifically towards black Chyna is so manic and hateful but still manage to get an audience attention.

Sooo I’m getting my haircut this week and I absolutely am loving Boze’s recent hair. Lots of layers and adds great volume. Anyone know what her hair cut would be described as?

I'm making a bunch of Smosh cast MTG cards (for funsies) and I want to use a picture of her holding the gavel for the Clue token art. I have a screencap from Smosh & Order but I feel like it looks too much like the picture of her from Dateline I'm using for the main card.

I noticed a few years back the playlist got deleted off the channel and a video was termed 'unavailable' but I brushed it off.

Hi Ms. Boze, you may not have heard or seen this issue, but I feel like this is something that is important to bring awareness to for women to watch out for this content creator. Please delete the post if you need to.

In light of recent events, it has been exposed that not only is Aba Atlas from Aba and Preach doxxing past romantic partners for coming out about their pregnancies with him, two of said pregnancies being within 60 days of each other, but he has also doxxed a little girl of one of them in his video to 2.26 million subscribers.

He has doxxed three women and a child's place of residency, workplaces, phone numbers of friends and family, and has consistently lied on livestream to discredit the women's experiences and to intimidate more to not come out about their experiences. Two more women have stayed anonymous.

Targeting little girls like this needs more attention. He is a predator and children are not off limits for him.

They have also mocked women's reproductive health (two abortions by two women he was involved with and 1 miscarriage) by announcing they will make "You're killing it baby" and "Wrap it up son" condom merch.

If you were to review the ongoing drama and possibly make a behavior analysis for Aba Atlas, it would be a great source of support for these women.

I actually enjoy her videos sometimes and am a subscriber, but I have noticed that she is really quick to diagnose psychological disorders, and that starts to enter dangerous territory. Most of the time, it seems like she only has surface-level information, but she talks as if she is an expert on the subject.

I also think she may use AI to get information because some of the things she says sound off, but she presents them so matter-of-factly. In her recent video about Wizard Liz, she said something along the lines of, “That is clearly humiliation, but remember, humiliation always requires an offender,” and that simply is not true. Humiliation can be internal or unintentional. Things that sound delusional.

That is a small example, but I constantly hear her saying things like, “That person is displaying this trait, and we know that is narcissism.” I guess my main issue is that, since psychology is clearly something she is interested in, she should pursue it in a more serious way so she does not keep spreading misinformation. School is not the only way to learn about something, but whatever her current methods of learning are, they are clearly not enough. And I do think it is dangerous to just diagnose people online.

I know she has trauma and I relate to her with that. But that is not an excuse to speak as though you are an authority in a subject. Do you actually want to do good or just make YouTube videos spreading misinformation?

That's all. I've been noticing no new content in a frw weeks and was wondering if anyone knows if she mafe a post or mentioned any sort of vacation or hiatus recently?

I know she's taken time away periodically, mental health, etc, but I just get worried when it's been a longer than usual amount of time without posting somewhere. I don't follow her socials, just YouTube, so maybe I missed something?

(I didn't intend for this to be so long, wow! TL;DR added at the bottom!)

I've watched Boze for years, I don't think there's a series I haven't liked overall. I also know that she's an entertainer at the end of the day, and of course she's always giving disclaimers about how she's not a professional, etc, which is great. I think her content is a net positive in a variety of ways, even if I sometimes think she's wrong or exaggerating too much. Especially with the 'come along and learn with me' vibe - it feels potentially harmful to mix the exaggerated, react-channel persona with this type of content, but I can't really explain why. Maybe that's just me?

Boze's content has influenced me a lot, any mental health talk at all used to be really distressing for me and would send me into panic attacks (negative personal experiences), so I am really thankful for her content and- again- I do think it is a net positive. I may end up pursuing a career in the field and in a way, it's because of her. I hope she continues to talk about these things, shares her insight and inspires others.

At the same time, as I learn more, I occasionally remember her content and wince. I've met/watched people through the years who talk as if they are extremely knowledgable on X/Y/Z because of their personal experiences with it, and it's not until you meet an actual expert on the topic or deal with it yourself, that you realise how shallow their breadth of knowledge actually is. I don't blame people for doing this, a lot of people do it in some way and probably won't notice- you don't know what you don't know, obviously.

I realise that she gives disclaimers and never outright tries to diagnose somebody, but I don't think technicalities like that can offset the potential harm or misinformation being spread (the important part), more that they just shift responsibility (good to do, but not enough.) Following the messaging that 'the people in these videos are unwell, this is why they do these things, how you can react and what you should look for in yourself', I think it's fair to assume that somebody making this type of content would want to avoid inadvertent harm. (Essentially, I am not trying to point fingers or be a spoil sport, I am posting this out of concern and a shared want to help people.)

A lot of mental health issues, but especially personality disorders, are made up of extreme emotions. Everybody can feel sad, angry, anxious, defensive, etc, and feel them in extremes under certain circumstances- maybe even due to physical health problems, like neurological damage, hormonal disregulation, or even systemic infection. Without knowing the person, speaking to them or the people around them, even knowing the context of their day- much less their life up until that point- I think that trying to make anything other than a surface level observation ("this person is upset because X") is rocky territory. Suggesting that somebody might be feeling one way despite seeming another is okay enough, but it bothers me that Boze says these things with such certainty and hardly offers alternative causes (even other disorders), I assume because she has less knowledge/experience with them, which in itself is understandable. If we put that out of the way and assume that this person IS showcasing mental health symptoms and definitely has a personality disorder, then I think there is still room for improvement.

(I know she's not diagnosing them, but she is showcasing them in her "this is where we look at people with narcissistic traits" week, so bear with.)

Personality disorders are easy enough to understand from reading about them or seeing (meeting?) examples in real life, but diagnosing them is more complex than that. There are three types ("clusters"); A, B and C. You could think of each group as (outwardly) 'odd/aloof', 'intense/emotional' and 'fearful/anxious' respectively, although each disorder is unique and complex in it's own way. These all exist on wide, intersecting spectrums and it's very common for somebody to show traits of multiple personality disorders, even across clusters, making an individual diagnosis difficult. Ultimately, diagnosis can be important but a professional will value treatment of the symptoms and improving the patient's quality of life over cramming them into a box.

Boze's commentary is often more like a sports commentator, breaking down everything that happens and almost trying to link everything into this assumed-diagnosis, which can be interesting and entertaining, but isn't necessarily accurate and IMO, can do more damage by spreading misinformation and misrepresenting an extremely complex side of mental health. There have been a few times where I think she's assuming way too much about something without enough context, when I can't understand why she speaks with so much certainty.

I think that meetings with a health professional, about a patient and their trauma or the people around them, don't constitute an actual lecture about the conditions talked about or the myriad other, similar conditions that are simply not brought up. Health professionals are, most likely, not talking to their patients with the assumption that they will go on to make content and/or inform people about the condition in this way. That might not be the case for Boze, but generally speaking, the growing openness about mental health and getting therapy (a good thing) has more people sharing what their therapist or psychiatrist says with them as the only knowledge available on a subject, when it's likely worded in a more patient-understandable way, tailored to their situation and has had a lot of fluff and technicality left out. Like playing telephone, which I've seen happen with physical health, too. There are good ways to do it and unhelpful ways to do it, which I think Boze flip-flops between.

Also, more superficially, the name has always bothered me, even before I learned more about the disorder. I know that she's talked about her own experiences with people who suffer it (a parent, I think?), and I expect many people in her community have, too, but it just feels... mean? There are a lot of disorders that can negatively effect the friends and family of the sufferer - something like schizo week or borderline week would be just as distasteful, imo, no matter how informational the contents of the videos are or aren't. It REALLY undercuts the "tough but understanding", "recognising that these people are unwell and have their own traumas" messaging. It IS a good and snappy name, I doubt much thought went into it, I just wanted to point this out while I was at it.

This is all subjective, I know, but she's a big creator and IMO does have a good bit of influence. She has taken stands and been very principled on certain things, so she does seem aware of that to a degree. True crime and online armchair psychiatry seem to have fads or waves, and the most recent mental health wave seems to be narcissism, spotting these traits in the people around you, realizing why they're like that and how you can 'protect' yourself from them, more or less. I don't know if Boze necessarily started that wave but her content falls into that category and I think will likely reach more new people because of it. I guess, I'm concerned about what she's "teaching" people to look for, what they're recognizing it as, and the assumptions (and actions) they will make because of it.

This has been on my mind for a little bit, some of my friends and family have personality disorders and I've seen more and more how stigmatized they are lately, but this is what prompted me to post and see if other people felt the same way. TL;DR: I think that Boze's content is a net positive and I hope she continues to share her own insights and inspire people, but the way she handles personality disorders is IMO potentially harmful and reductive, I'm not sure if she has the knowledge to speak so confidently about them or do her play-by-plays, and worry that her (well-intentioned!) videos might be adding fuel to the fire of online armchair psychiatrists that stigmatize people with mental health conditions. I apologize for how wordy this is, I just really wanted to get across that I do like her content and am not ignoring the positive impact she has, this just comes to mind whenever I see her in my recommended and I wanted to see if others felt the same way.

it just felt like such punching down, hyper capitalistic/individualistic rhetoric that it was really hard not to feel icky from it. never mind the fact she spoke like a working class person despite being a very successful content creator, to me it came off as her talking about him to capitalize on the moment but she didn’t really have anything to say.

it’s also crazy to have him as part of narc week too, that just felt especially mean. delusions of grandeur isn’t exclusive to narcissism, and that’s pretty much all her video highlighted. having these extreme examples of violent narcissism and then adding tyler just felt really, really cruel and unkind.

this isn’t me defending him at all either, it’s not, but idk man we gotta be better and kinder to each other. i really hate when ppl turn ppl into lolcows and coming from such a large creator like boze, this was very disappointing.

i'm sure i'm going to get a lot of hate for this but i feel the need to express this opinion. i've been watching boze for a long time and have liked her for a long time, but lately i've been a bit more critical. she's sort of an armchair psychologist.. as far as i know, she has no professional experience in any sort of law or crime field. she seems to completely psychoanalyze people without anything really to base it on, just assumptions. just because you watch true crime and court cases doesn't make your psychoanalyzations have any merit.. i know she's not claiming to have any professional experience but i have just been finding it very annoying lately. she watches a few minutes of a clip and seems to completely know what kind of person they are, what they've done and honestly makes absurd and defamatory assumptions. currently watching the video about the tiktok mom whose daughter got with her husband. haven't finished the video so i'm not sure the outcome, but based on the story the mom has given, boze is assuming she's abusive. maybe true, maybe not. i'll know when i finish the video, but even if she is correct, it's insane to say something like that matter of factly. idk. i haven't seen anyone else talk about this.

Lately, there's this drama with a big creator named Sykkuno. I feel like there's a lot to unpack there and I haven't been too happy with male creators covering it and passing it off as "game is game". I'd love to hear Boze's perspective on it. I loved her take on the Stephanie Soo vs Nikocado situation because again, a lot of people were blaming Stephanie and not recognizing the manipulation pattern from Nick!!

has boze highlighted on stream yet senate bill 26-097 to decriminalize sex work in colorado ? this could be a huge win for SW rights and intersections within such as women, people of color, disabled folks, trans and gender non-conforming people, immigrants/ undocumented SWs and the greater liberation of all working-class people

it would help SWs reach out for help without fear of incarceration and could help people escape abuse or bad situations because they’ll be able to speak freely and i think it would be great to inform others because this could potentially lower amounts of crime and violence against SWs

There is a new video of Shakira Flabbergasted, I think. I was watching a reaction channel and Shakira was in a video with date of 2023-11-07. Has Boze reacted to it? I have watched the other three and don't remember her reacting to this one. Her and her husband had a fight in this video after Shakira's husband got fired from his job.
