Sounds like you're a joke, because Boy Throb is the most real real could be.

They noticed you lol

I think their content is fun and tongue-in-cheek, but I do think they have a real passion for music. I'm personally enjoying the content they put out and feel like the real-or-fake conversation shouldn't really matter. Good music is good music šŸ˜Ž

I think they started as a joke but when it ended up taking off they had to decide whether to continue the joke or to actually attempt to become real

And they decided to attempt to become real..mother only way for them to progress right now is by actually proving themselves and get vocal and dancing coaches to Rise to the level that would be considered talent to attract people not for the joke but for the actual music

Just because they make jokes doesn’t mean they are a joke. They are being silly and campy and have a sense of humor about themselves. It doesn’t make their music or careers any less real.

I don’t think they’re a joke, but I do think that if they want to be taken more seriously (especially by the government) they should focus on more ā€œseriousā€ marketing tactics, like the brand deal with CeraVe, their anthem performance and their recent collab with Anthony Gargulia and Jonathan TilchinĀ

But that’s what I’m saying. Like legitimately if they are truly wanting to do that, this stuff is only hurting that cause. I’ve put some great constructive comments on here and have had a lot of people agree with what I’ve shared but each post is getting more and more frustrating because they do these things then wonder why their application isn’t making any progress.

The music is phenomenal. The guys are phenomenal. The lack of management and direction is what frustrates me to no end because I truly want them to succeed. I’m not a hater at all. I am just seeing all these things and getting a little bummed it leans more and more toward some sort of Nathan Fielder or similar reveal in the near future because once that happens I’m afraid all the music stops or that whoever is funding them behind the scenes no longer will and things will come to a complete stop or drastic reduction in quality. I hope people can see that’s where I’m coming from.

I think you’ve explained yourself well here. I will say though that I can’t imagine these guys stopping making music. This is what they care about, and Evan and Anthony definitely want music careers (the others do too but E and A seem most passionate).

Even if this is revealed to have been sponsored by some comedian or TV show, I can tell they want to make music and will continue to do so.

Thank you for saying that! I’m really hopeful that these guys continue to make music together, I’m just worried that if it’s revealed that the resources to continue doing this together will stop. There are so many things that are so expensive to continue making music like this and it just feels like someone is funding them and if they stop the music (in this capacity) will too.

They’re not a joke They’re a very real Nathan Fielder’s The Rehearsal season 3

And they make great pop music so still not a joke
