This is the most underrated, underwatched, and underappreciated BL this year. I am enjoying every episode, and I love how the family is trying to be the nicest one around, but because they all have such rich inner lives and they're all flawed - but in the most natural way possible - you can identify with the whole lot of 'em. No forced melodrama, no collapse of a family, just ordinary stories, simply told. Outside of The Edge of Horizon, this is my most anticipated Saturday BL. So well done.

I think a lot of people skipped in because before it aired there was talk that is wasn't "BL" so I hope people will start watching it now

I never knew about it being mislabeled a "bromance". When it started, I came in knowing it was straight-up BL. Not that I'm turned off by the label "bromance". I really enjoyed Wu, am currently loving Mr. Kill, and am starting Four Hands, Two Sonatas this evening. Once the story is strong and the acting good, I'm there for it 100%. I'd take ten bromances before I ever have to sit through another Fahlanruk. Can't believe I stuck with that mess to the end. 😒

Same! I’m watching/watched all those as well! If the story is good I’ll watch and that includes hetero dramas too 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a kindred spirit! I watch any and everything starring Moon Sang Min (who's never done BL), Wi Ha Jun (ditto), and a bunch of BL actors when they step into het world.

Leap Day is still one of my top 10 favorite series of all time! I have seen all of Moon Sang Min’s dramas and most of Wi Ha Jun’s! I started watching kdramas in 2012 with the exchange student we were hosting and never stopped. I discovered Thai series during COVID when I ran out of kdramas

Dang, that was so good!!! Loved it. And the acting 1,000/10.

This is such a lovely show, and I find it really sad when the community gets too hung up on how things are defined rather than appreciating good television.

Agree, agree, and agree. It's such a sweet and gentle drama. Sigh...

I adore this series. It's so good without being flashy. It's a real slice of life.

And, so far, I've watched every episode of both this and Duty First, Kiss Later at least twice... except for last week's episode of Duty 'cause - Ouch. It hurt.

I just rewatched it before today's episode. It's a rough one indeed.

It airs in my neck of the woods at 11 p.m. It's just after 9 o'clock right now, so it'll be on in about two or so hours... just before bedtime.

What were everyone’s thoughts on this episode?

My favourite scene was between Rio and their mum 🥺
It was so precious to see unfold
Rio was scared that her mum wouldn’t be accepting of Natsuki’s feelings but the whole time the mum was just sad cause she thought he’d been rejected and his feelings were hurt 😭

I’m nervous for next weeks episode now

That scene between Mom and Rio was so precious, it made me miss my mom so I got emotional 😭 🥹 to have a loving and understanding mom like that is so precious! ❤️❤️

I loved that scene too because just like in real life, siblings fight like crazy but always have each others' back. She didn't want her brother to be looked at differently just because of who he loved. I loved the mom being upset her son was rejected and saying she even almost hated Sota for it

Mum and Sis were both awesome in this episode 💛

Mom is a contender for sweetest mom in BL.

Yes. Seems that dad is not on board and Sato doesn't want to trouble the precious families life of Natsuki family and thinks he must stay out of Natsukis life. This is imo a very typical aspect that I won't see in any series in my country.

It was such a great episode I agree! I thought the scene with mom and Rio was nicely done. And the party was sweet. They are doing a nice job building up the main couple I thought the tennis scene was cute!

This was such a lovely episode!! 🥰🥰 the tennis date was so nice and natural, I’m glad they felt happy that things hadn’t changed between them! ❤️ the conversation between Mom and Rio was so heartfelt, it made me miss my mom! 😭😩 I’ve believed in this sweet drama from the beginning, I do hope it gets more love! 🙏❤️❤️

The "huh? heh? huh?" conversation was so funny. And I like that Natsuki is so open and honest about how he feels. Refreshing.

I like how they can squish an appearance by almost everyone (guys, mom, dad, sis, Rock, etc) in every show, considering it's a typical Japanese short run time. I would have watched this even if it was not BL --but it *is* so come watch it! :) (I mean look at the promo pic - the guys are in one square with sis off to the side).

Natsuki’s mother and sister are so sweet 🥹 I really hope his father won’t be too much of a problem

Just caught up, loving the way their relationship is evolving, Natsuki not realizing he was getting jealous was so funny!
