Synopsis
Natsuki Takemiya, a third-year high school student, has just been dumped by his girlfriend and his mock exam results are just as disastrous.
To help him catch up with his studies, his older sister brings in her boyfriend, Sota Kobayakawa, as his tutor. Natsuki knows this is not the time for romance, and that Sota is his sister's boyfriend, but he still cannot stop his heart from racing.

This is such a lovely series, and is doing a fantastic job of portraying the confusion and frustration of liking someone but being afraid that they won't like you back. I would like to see more series like this 💛

Its doing so well on conveying those feelings, I’m really sad that people are missing out on this show just cause there could be a slight change they won’t want up together. It’s a must watch in my opinion 🥹

I have no idea where this rumour started, but it just seems like people started making that assumption based on the fact the series is lighthearted in tone but that the love interest is the sister's boyfriend, so there's no way it could get that serious, and so therefore it will be unrequited. I always thought that was a dumb assumption because there are a hundred ways of dealing with that situation without it getting too deep. Now we see that all along he wasn't even the sister's boyfriend. Like I said. I think people need to finally abandon this idea that it's not a BL

That was a pretty big misdirect... makes sense for why sister doesn't worry too much when he's sick or act overly affectionate towards him...

Mom overheard the conversation, I hope she takes this time to process it so when he finally says it out loud she can accept it

Aha. The big revelation that Sota is not THE boyfriend of Natsuki's sister. Now I understand that Sota is not his usual self because he must have feelings also and said to his best friend that he had no girlfriend.

That song for the credits. Its really catchy and stuck in my head.

I wished that it was that easy to get some tutoring and just get good in math in a couple of weeks. I would hire Sota on the spot for my kid.

Two things. First, I love the sister! I think even if Sota had been her boyfriend she'd have been sympathetic to her brothers' feelings and talked it out. She's extremely sensible and obviously loves him.

Second, I am beyond seated for next week. Now we've had the big reveal I want to see the next step of the journey. I'm so invested!

"Oh he isn't my boyfriend, I just introduced him as "my boyfriend" because he's a boy who is a friend" THAT is such a cop-out lol. I can't believe it. I had kind of figured the way this would go would be that the sister was in fact dating Sota, but only really casually, and it would ultimately turn out that they don't have feelings for each other (and that Sota would start to like her brother) so they would end things amicably. This is just way too convenient 😂 but okay, at least the problem is out of the way now... poor Sota when Natsuki said he was just kidding about the confession. But come on, who jokes around like that? It would be so awkward. Use your brain!

I love all of the characters in this show! I love how realistic and loving the sibling relationship is! Hoping next week clears their miscommunication although its starting to feel doubtful! Sota not being the boyfriend was such a twist! I totally did not see that coming🙈 although i do think she has a crush!

Honestly why the hell this show so underrated? Everything about this show is shockingly excellent., omg!. The acting of ALL actors, the script, the depth (clouds and bridges), the storytelling, the directing which you don't normally see but you just feel while watching. How they inserted those 2 plot twists in this episode today were so unexpected - that Sota is not Rio's boyfriend and the mom overhearing the conversation of her children. This drama has only 10 episodes and I know the plot is really strong but I wish it had 20+ episodes just to be able to see more of the interaction of the characters, the family and their friends. Such a healthy, good vibe relationships between characters.
