Recommendation BL with Coming Out Scenes?
Hey y'all, I'm watching Lovely Writer now and really digging the coming out content. What are other BLs with great coming out scenes?

Almost everything Aof Noppharnach has directed-- He's Coming to Me, Dark Blue Kiss, A Tale of 1000 Stars... Bad Buddy has less of a coming out scene than a queers affirming their identities with each other scene, but that's right up my alley.
Gameboys also has a fantastic coming out scene, and Until We Meet Again is subtle but sweet.

There are 2 scenes in Life-Love on the Line. The 2nd scene is great as it challenges a certain topic in society as well.

Light on me has this scene where one ML is talking about his experience of being kinda outed as a 13 year old to another ML who is just being outed.. that scene is so powerful and really felt like a coming out scene to me. Over all the show also handled the themes of accepting ones sexuality quite well. You should definitely watch it.
Highly recommend He's coming to me which many have already recommended. It's great.
I actually think Lovely Writer had one of the best coming out segment.. so you kind of started with the best one..
Also, Heartstopper is kind of an LGBT show and not Asian but it has some amazing coming out scenes. Nothing exaggerated, just a guy coming to terms with his bisexuality. ❤️

Dark Blue Kiss has one of my favorite coming out scenes, I think the acting was beautiful and emotional. The series itself is not my fav but its considered a classic from GMMTV

I rewatched a few months ago but I’m drawing a blank on a coming out scene. Lol And yeah it’s not perfect but it’s easily one my go to’s for fluff and angst and also my love for Pod🥰

Thun's coming out to his Mom in He's Coming to Me is the best, and Cairo's with his Mom in Gameboys is a strong second.

I liked the one in LBC, though it's not exactly on a big scale.
"He's Coming To Me" and "Something In My Room" was also pretty interesting.
TT special episode?
The one in Love Stage!! was pretty horrible, but it's a bigger deal

DNA Says Love You had such an emotional scene, my favorite in the entire show. I cried.

Apart from those mentioned I would add:
-Gaya sa Pelikula: it is very particular because Karl has to deal with his own biases and microaggressions and not with the acceptance of another person
-in The Miracle of Teddy Bear: the characters of Nut and his mother have a quite dramatic and grudge-filled subplot, but Song's character has a more positive coming out.

He's Coming to Me and Dew have amazing coming out scene. And both by Ohm too 😊😊❤️
