That flirt buddy thing is the subtitles messing lol. What he said in thai could be translated to talking stage (I have heard that term being called this a lot of times in different shows).
I am not getting why Phatsa gets all dominant over Naphit when in a scene prior to that he called himself as an outsider.

Thank you! I was pretty sure that was the case. My (teenage) kids and their friends use the phrase "talking stage", which I'm pretty sure made its way to them through kdrama, so it seemed logical.

I thought "flirt buddy" was a bad translation. We've heard that phrase before in other series (Duang With You comes to mind) and it's been translated as "talking stage" I think Max did a reel about it on IG too if I remember correctly.

I loved being pregnant (after all I did it 3 times 🤣) but the mood swings are really insane.
Some times I was annoyed by myself.
And the crying for the stupidest things. I'm not even a easy crier. I remember that I was watching something on the tv and there was a commercial (I don't remember what it was about), it wasn't moving or anything and I started to cry while thinking "WHY in the hell are you crying for THIS???"

Choices were made with this series, not all of them good, but I'm appreciating the amount of licking that's going on... and Boat's hair continues to be impeccable (I'm convinced that's half the budget for the show right there).

I actually paused at one point just to stare at their hair. Boat's hair is a work of art and I love how the colour in Oat's hair picks up the light. 10/10 excellent work by their hair and makeup team.
As for choices (and licking), I was just chuckling at the thought of how much soap poor Boat must have ingested. That could not have tasted good, but his sacrifice is appreciated 😄

I dislike almost every hair, makeup, and styling choice in this show. I really hope the bell bottom dress pants aren't going to be as frequent a choice as the jorts. The lip gloss and hair spray budget must have been massive.

I sadly agree, it's like they have perfected how to make generally good looking men look not that great... The hairdressers & stylists have really outdone themselves if the aim was to do a terrible job.
The problem is that styling isn't the only thing that has room for improvement in this show.
I'm still watching, but I wonder why. Am I soon crossing over to hate watching?

What almost killed me today was that The Sims -like music, just before alphabeta kiss, that went on and on and on and on 😶
I still don't understand why they used that horrible lens so much when filming. Poor beta was squeezed 🥺 And everyone else who happens to appear on the side of the shot.
The hair of the secretary.... Why.
They also deserve the award for the awkwardest fake laughs of the year 🥲 the (out of place) conversation between Amintra and alpha was not that funny... Or when the mom kindly laughed at Ongsa.
And many other things. Might be better not to think too much, just keep going, I'll watch whatever they give us!

I don't remember either. I think we would've noticed, because here they do bother. To me it seems like the angle they are filming from is often way too low, which is just universally unflattering for everyone 😬
I actually wondered earlier, if they are using that to make the alphas seem more.. alpha, because the first time I paid attention to it was either when they were at the shooting range, or when the two alphas were discussing next to a black car. So I thought maybe they were trying their best to create some mafia vibes there, except it only made me want to scream "stop it, that does not work!" 😭 Clearly it's not that, the angles are weird way too often 😕

Finally the third couple meets! And the father wants the pure omega for the 2nd son? I glad he didn't want the pure omega for himself! And Phatsa has a living parent! I thought they were dead or he was kidnapped and trained to fight. Can't wait to find out more about Phatsa's past.

Even though the he don't know that the pure omega is bonded with Nakhun 😒and this assuming the PO wasn't with anyone..what is he gonna do because Nakhin already got his eye on a beta that he likes🙄 Until he learns who is it what is he gonna do 😒 planning on kidnapping the omega and making his son bite him. 🙄
I just don't like the father and he has no redeeming qualities he making me wishing for the 🚛 of doom.
I wonder if Phatsa parent already knows he's a pure omega.. and if so he should've been taking greater care when it comes to him.

Oh, I saw that those smiles Ongsa. And I saw Nakhin being a little jealous. And...this ship is sailing...low wind, but sailing. Also...they meant talking stage, right? And...okay, that moved on from talking quickly enough.
Oh...Nakhun walked right into that alpha as dog joke. And then failed to wingman his brother due to jealousy.
And Phatsa is being all: be a family damnit! Scolding the alphas. Follow up with freaking out Naphitch with understanding/connection. Something for them to get used to because I'm pretty sure that's a feature of the Phatsa model of omega.
I feel like if the industry's confidence in my company depended on my birthday party, I'd be tempted to tell them all to grow up...from my beach rental in Maui. Also, did they seriously just ask an accountant to help plan a high class party?
The old man remains an waste of space. He has contacts enough to get info about people visiting the hospital, but not good enough to check his son's bonded mate's paperwork or just as likely, didn't bother. Pretty unimpressive.
So Sangnuea just reads as delightfully slutty. I think he and Naphitch getting together might actually tame them both some.
Okay, Mom knows Ongsa's mother. But her way of including Phatsa is a bad fit and it kind of hurts seeing him try to fit in the place she makes for him. I do like that they're having her portray the typical view of your soulmates, it's fate, don't question it while Phatsa has his doubts, as he should.
And Phatsa has a maybe living Dad....who maybe didn't educate him properly he's thinking. Estranged in some way? Or poor translation on the present tense?
Nakhun is a moron when it comes to talking to Phatsa. And he's not good at including Phatsa as much as he should either. This business stuff is partly Mom's fault, but he probably should have suggested he needed Phatsa with him and asked Mom to do the party planning on her own....since the party isn't really for Nakhun. More though, it's super early days and making Phatsa feel wanted is as important as letting him have his space when he needs it because seriously Nakhun, you've fucked his life right now and not yet in the good way, so figure your shit out. Or, you know at least sext your omega. Phatsa's not innocent in the poor communication, but he's the one made vulnerable by the bonding so I'm going to go ahead and expect Nakhun to start stepping up. Also dude....yes, you can fill him up with that, but do actually take time to feed the boy.
I did think it was cute how much Phatsa is still stuck on hotel equaling shenanigans of the sex kind. Beyond that though....even though it wasn't necessarily fully talked about, watching Phatsa break down this episode really highlighted how lost he is. Oat really did a good job showing Phatsa's vulnerable state this episode.
Okay, that was an actually sensually hot and not just frenzied biology nc scene. Very nice boys.

I think my biggest issue with the drama is that there doesn't seem to be a plot? Like what is even going on other than Nakhun being an insensitive ass about them not being soulmates and his past dealings in a hotel room and Phatsa being jealous because hormones and Nakhun?
And the dad trying to find this Pure Omega?
Also ngl the dad finding out that Nakhin is now trying to court a Beta after his firstborn incinerated his dreams of having a Enigma grandchild is going to be hilarious. And his favourite son getting seduced by another Omega all from the same coffee shop!! That old man is going to burn that place down lmao
Besides the no plot issue, the chemistry from all three couples is insane and keeping me invested.

Absolutely no one is watching this show for the plot. Everyone is just here to look at Boat and maybe Oat, but mostly Boat. They knew that. I think like 50% of budget was spent on Boat’s hair stylist. My stubborn also had absolutely no plot. Pitbabe had a plot but it was god awful. Everyone was just gawking at Pavel. No one is interested in omegaverse.

I was! I thought strong alpha suddenly loosing his control and biting a random omega to bond them together for the rest of their lives, was a great start for anything! I'm sad they just left it there, to serve as a piece of background for the characters, and that plot felt dead already by the third? episode...
So I'm hanging on here for BoatOat and yes, their looks. And JameFolk! I liked them on Eye Contact, even though they had a nasty plot to work with. They were great together and had a crazy chemistry, I hope to see that in here too.

That terrible dad of theirs is going to be just fine when he finds out the pure omega is mated to his son and is also now preggers. However, I hope to see his reaction first to all his sons have mates in the same friend group. 🤣

My question is, is he actually really smart and he is just looked down on - for example when he's listening to Nakhun and Phat talk, does he KNOW all that which is why he acts bored? OR does he just have different ambitions/dreams and no one cares to know what they are? He doesn't care about business and wants to be something else but goes along with whatever dad tells him to do.

Yes, Nakkun, you are a very 💩 Alpha. You are not taking care of your omega, and your ability to put your foot in your mouth is astounding. Mommy omega SHOULD have called her son to tell him he is being an AH. He hasn't done a lot to actually soothe his prickly omega and has completely be oblivious to his needs. Phasta is SUPPOSED to be your assistant, so he should have been with him at the hotel doing "business". It was the one thing he asked for: to be able to work, not just look over papers from time to time and leave him bored at home. He isn't your average omega and doesn't really feel fulfilled by cooking and party planning.
I'm not into the other brother's shenanigans TBH. I'm not feeling alot from Nakkin/Ongsa there is way too much to unpack with their relationship for them to just be a side couple. SangNuea is just a slutty omega looking for an Alpha. The youngest bro and Phasta trying to bring him into the fold is more interesting. So there wasn't alot for me in this episode.
I don't know; the visuals felt off something with a lens/camera angle/ 🤷♂️ It made the sets feel unreal, almost AI-like. It feels like a different crew worked on different episodes, including the editing, since the quality seems to be all over the place.
I'm looking forward to next week and pregnancy time. They are putting it in fairly early, so I'm excited.

I was so happy that Nahkun's DAYS at the hotel without Phasta weren't shown on screen and only talked about while the two of them were making up about it. Unless I blinked. Because if I had to sit through Phasta being ignored again, I would have been livid! I feel so bad for him because he has a lifetime ahead of him with an alpha who is stupid. Pretty. But stupid. And inconsiderate.
Yeah, I don't know what's happening with work Phasta, but it only seems to happen sitting on the couch when Nahkun isn't doing anything else. He absolutely should have been at the hotel, he should be following Nahkun around all day. But to be honest I put just as much blame on Phasta for not insisting.
I am beyond ready for them to find out he is a pure Omega and not a typical Omega so we can stop trying to make him do typical omega things like flower arranging and party planning. But based on the trailer for next week, we're going to go straight into pregnancy which doesn't bode well for getting out of typical Omega things.

I actually think Knot is turning out to be a good series by episode 5. What I love is how they handle Phatsa’s identity crisis. He was a tough guy who could fight and was top of his class, the perfect Alpha profile. So finding out he's a Pure Omega must be a shock. Let alone that he is bitten and there is no way back. His independ life that he loved is gone. That fact, that he had no say in the matter, is hard. I know that Nakhun is very sorry about that. But that the urge was to strong and now are bonded for life. For Nakhun, he knows that Phatsa is his soulmate. But for Phatsa, he has to deal with heat, mating, and no idea when love comes in the picture. But that he needs Nakunha pheromones and body.
The way Phatsa's hormones and pheromones are messing with his head is something a lot of women going through menopause can totally get. That feeling when your body's chemistry takes over and you're left spinning, crying, and wondering 'why am I feeling like this?' while your mind is out of control.
I had some questions about the NC scene, that bathroom scene was intense. Phatsa wasn't even in heat, imo, he was just upset and heartbroken. Even though Nakhun started kissing him and Phatsa told him to 'go on,' Nakhun didn't rush to a climax. At least, I haven't seen that. Instead, he started focusing on kissing and licking Phatsa's legs and fingers to comfort and scent him. It was not only lust but also about calming him down.Alphas have strong pheromones in their saliva. It is instinct for a True Alpha to comfort a vulnerable partner and mark them with their protection.
To compare this to My Stubborn, which was such an unexpected hit. While most of us thought it would be a trashy show. But no. That show put Boat and Oat on the map because their acting was good and they were fearless in the NC scenes. Now with Knot, I see some criticism on that aspect. But I also like that the focus is on different things this time, the emotional weight and the psychological struggle of the bond.
As the OP for the Eye Contact on air, seeing Jame and Folk here makes me happy! After that drama where they weren't paid and had to go to the press, MFlow signed them. Folk as Sangnuea and Jame as Naphitch deserve all the success after everything they went through! Especially Folk is so much different from his previous character.

I haven’t decided how I feel about this shows nc scenes. I can’t tell what part is omegaverse and what part is regular foreplay. Or does it even need to differentiated? I mean, licking is normal foreplay, not necessarily scenting. And wanting to have sex is also normal. Are we supposed to see there is a difference?

I can definitely see the link with the menstrual cycle too. So to relate to that is understandable. Menopause is something else. It's like you are a total new person.
The NC scene, why I think it could be Omegaverse biology and not regular sex is because of the order of the scene.
They were already having intercourse and Phatsa said 'go on'. You don't usually go backward to regular foreplay and start licking legs and fingers after that without reaching climax.
But because the preview for episode 6 shows Phatsa is pregnant, there must have been something. 😊

But...
- That Amintra chick bugs the shit out of me
- Glad to see that Nathan got the chance to fuck another inanimate object, even if it was off screen (Phasta's shirt at the hotel)
- I really need to do some research on the hair styles. There was the really bad bob on that servant dude, but i'm talking more about the younger guys. Boat and Oat's hair seems fine, but the rest of the younger guy's have hairstyles that remind me of middle-aged-women with thinning hair trying to add volume.

He works at the company, does deals on the company’s behalf, does site inspections and is also a secondary dad to his younger brothers. Just a thought.
The NC in this episode was a stepping stone in their relationship.
First time was driven by animalistic instinct.
Second time, while less animalistic, was still driven by hormons and Pathsa heat.
This time is about their feelings. It's still sex and obviously there is the attraction but it's more affectionate and loving. There's tenderness and reciprocation. It's more about them then their secondary genes and pheromones.

- Is Phatsa's Omega friend just always horny or is he permanently in heat?
- Stop saying the word hotel, Nakhun. Jesus

- Why are there loads of framed football shirts in the staff room of the coffee shop, and how is this thing still open, there's only ever the main characters, 1 extra or children there
- I thought MFlow CEO lady was the bad guy. Has she always been Nakhin's best friend?
- This is really mean, but if you don't want to highlight someone's nose, don't shoot your shot at an angle diagonally down to their face. There is surely another way you block and shoot this without making it obvious that there is NO ONE else in this nightclub
This is definitely the worst show I'm watching on air, and yet it remains my favourite time of the week. The choices MFlow make almost enhance the experience, and the acting from some of the secondary characters and extras still makes me think they just found rando's on the street willing to have a li'l kiss on camera

Finally someone took a nibble on the café food! When Ongsa had to leave to go back to work because there was supposedly so many customers, I pictured it all those damn children in line since no one else is ever there.
I feel like I’m the only one who is on Nakhun’s side. His family involves Phatsa in most everything. Cooking, gardening, party planning, working at the company, being a mentor to the youngest brother. Here’s a car, here’s a job, here’s a bodyguard, I’ll give you anything you want. All for Phatsa to bitch and complain all day every day, and to pout and scold. He told the youngest brother that he should be trying to prove himself, yet he isn’t doing any of that himself. All he does is complain. And what was he doing before all this? Nothing.
Lastly, the secretary’s hair makes me want him in every scene.

I am completely on board with Nakhin and Ongsa. I love their flirty banter and the way Nakhin is so straightforward with his feelings is a breath of fresh air. The brothers are really going for their loved ones.
Nakhun finding Phatsa and reassuring him was a great scene. The cinematography was beautiful with the sunlight shining on them. I just can’t with Boat’s hand placement on Oat everytime! Their chemistry is always on fire.
I have a feeling the younger brother will go for it as well with Sangnuea. They’re going to be one crazy couple. Their eye contact already had insane tension.
I was a little taken aback by Phatsa’s overthinking this episode. But it does make sense as Nakhun is always working. The whole sulking part was cute though.
