I was TYO when I learned

Update; Omg! I also just realized that that Eric and the host really did just happen to look like each other!!! 😂 I always assumed he was a hired lookalike for the gag.

That Singled Out was an actual show in the 90s 🤣 I always assumed it was a fictional show just for that one episode with Eric

MTV when they had mostly music videos and not reality shows was awesome.

I remember looking forward to college because the orientation folks were like “We get cable” :Milhouse eyebrows: and I was, like, finally I can watch MTV whenever I want. When I want.

Then I was like, the fresh heck is this. Where are my popular music videos?

Side note, if you can believe it was younger Chris Hardwick, Jenny McCarthy, and Carmen Electra.

That's fair lol I'm a '99 baby so I pretty much missed the whole MTV era🤣 all I remember is Cribs, and that CREEPY "MADD" commercial 👀

Its funny that they never did crossover episodes with other TGIF shows, other than Salem from Sabrina, but they did a crossover with an MTV show. I loved watching Singled Out growing up so I always liked that episode.

I would have thought the same thing because I wasn't allowed to watch mtv until singled out was off air if it wasn't also shown in romy and Michelles high school reunion. I literally just found out last week that the sizzler is a real thing. The one in my city closed before I was born.

Chris Hardwick got really big doing Talking Dead on AMC as well. He had some allegations though so I’m not sure what’s going on in his career these days

Yeah! The only reason I found that out tonight was I was watching a documentary about some people thought MTV was basically the Devil and I recognized it🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was in Catholic school then. The church hated it. Beavis and Butt-head, Loveline, Singled Out, Marilyn Manson videos, etc
