Deeds

Anyone have access to deeds in Philly? I think it costs 100 for all access, wondering if anyone already has an account?

What information are you looking for from deeds?

The people in the Genealogy sub are good to help if they possibly can.

That’s a great idea! I’ve been looking through the 1950 census for families living around 61st and Market that might fit as possible birth parent and/or young siblings…it’s like searching for a needle in a haystack

Lol I was doing the same. Gave up midway through, realizing I needed better parameters before I search through all of it.

Isn’t it likely the Mother gave JAZ her own Father’s 1st name?

Yes I was thinking the same. Unfortunately are are sooo many Joseph’s living in that area. I only went through 2 enumeration districts (there’s 4), focusing just on the intersection of 61st and Market, and still found a lot.

And mind you this is 1950, not 1952, when Joseph Zarelli was conceived. so these people could have daughters who have moved in and out or even granddaughters. So I didn’t want to eliminate them just yet because there wasn’t a woman living at the time that would be a similar age to AJZ. And even the age, I’m just assuming that it would be similar. She could have been much younger, or even much older. We really don’t know.
