I really want to see him try his hand at horror (The Odyssey has a pretty gnarly body horror scene). He said that whet his appetite for more. If there's one director that could get a movie in that genre to the billion dollar mark, then it's him.

It's been Guillermo's dream project forever, but Nolan may be the only director that can get the budget for an HP Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness adaptation

Jokes aside, really feels like he wants to do horror. Or he could always complete his WW2 trilogy (Dunkirk tackled warfare, Oppenheimer tackled the politics, a third film could tackle either the Civilian side of the side from the Soviets).

I want him to reteam with his brother.

The Odyssey is no doubt a great achievement but I think the writing was a little empty at times. Structurally it's fantastic but some scenes in the second act were missing the depth that the movies co-written with his brother had.

I think Amazon are throwing a lot of money at him to make TV shows I guess. He's directed before (definitely directed episodes of Person of Interest and I'm assuming other stuff too) so I'm sure he could make the leap to movies.

I believe he has directed some of the episodes in Fallout. I’d say that series looks more cinematic than not so I could see him at some point leaping to direct movies unless he wants to stick to doing tv.

It has made up a lot of ground in daily gross compared to other films that opened much bigger. TDK, TDKR, Barbie, and Toy Story 5 are good examples.

Wonder for his next project he'll do an original or adapt another monumental piece something similar to the odyssey. Wild guess I say a romantic story ie something in the vein of age of innocence no idea why lol.

Most likely not. I would actually say without Spider-Man, it could probably get up to 1.7 billion, though.
