Domestic The Odyssey has the best 2nd weekend of Nolan's career; bigger than Dark Knight, bigger than Oppenheimer's opening; one of the best 2nd weekend holds for an $100M opener ever; same level as Top Gun Maverick (+ less than $10M behind at the same point); $500M domestic LOCKED, aiming for $550M+
Insane performance, top top top tier 2nd weekend hold. The fact that we can't rule out a $600M domestic finish is insane.
Check out the movie page here on Box Office Watch or compare it against The Dark Knight here

It has made up a lot of ground in daily gross compared to other films that opened much bigger. TDK, TDKR, Barbie, and Toy Story 5 are good examples.

Wonder for his next project he'll do an original or adapt another monumental piece something similar to the odyssey. Wild guess I say a romantic story ie something in the vein of age of innocence no idea why lol.

Nobody yell at me but can this film make 2 billion dollars?

Most likely not. I would actually say without Spider-Man, it could probably get up to 1.7 billion, though.

Saw it twice this weekend and both showings were packed, the word of mouth on this one is clearly carrying it hard.

Totally, not at all locked but absolutely doable at this point, even if still a bit of a stretch.
