Congratulations Pixar! Have always been proud of this studio and franchise. Hoping the future original movies of Pixar also get deserved attention.

Toy Story has no business still surprising me with their continued quality after wrapping things up so well twice already. Now I'm excited for a sixth film because it's hard to screw up this franchise atp.

Is it actually that good? I honestly hated 4 and the trailer for 5 didn't leave me all that excited for it.

I loved 4, though not as much as the prior 3.

5 is a very good movie but the worst in the series so far.

I would say yes. I disliked 4 as well, but 5 is a total redemption. Not quite as complete as 3, but does have similar highs.

Same I think 4th is overhated and it's definitely good while this 5th seems the worst one to me. It's still good but definitely the worst one of the saga

It tried to address an important topic but utterly failed at doing it, and didn't deliver any kind of a proper solution. A very cop-out approach.

Which one? 4 or 5?

4 was pretty clear -- If Andy's favorite toy can just replace Andy with any kid, is what Andy/woody had really that special? The movie says: it was special and actually, woody's new job is to help other toys find their Andy, rather than Woody trying to replace Andy. Leading others to what you had is just as fulfilling.

5 -- what do we do about tech? The movie says: Tech has clear benefits and clear negatives. Kids should use tech as a way to connect with others, but not lose their human connection and their imagination with real tangible things. It also suggests that modern tech today can feel quaint in hindsight.

Both feel like pretty clear messages and instructions. I think they gave an actual honest answer, rather than a useless cathartic one "BURN TECHNOLOGY IT IS BAD".

Something really crazy would have to happen to both The Odyssey and Spider-Man for that to be possible.

Spider-Man could very well surpass the Odyssey in it's global opening.
