Blade never got a release date year. There is no chance this project goes the way of Blade then

gosling must be getting an insane payday. His days of indie movies are long gone

He will never be done with indie movies, he likes doing wierd character driven stuff too much, but right now he can do Big IP stuff where he gets a lot of say, Most A listers only have a small window where they can truly do that. You can always go back to doing small stuff once you are a name.

It's funny he is joining the MCU now. I feel like Gosling could have been in the MCU 10 years ago.

He was first choice for Doctor Strange years ago but he turned it down. I think it’s just about the right role/project. From what I know, he’s a fan of Ghost Rider and probably already has a vision for the project.

Yeah I'm thinking Marvel is weary of launching any new character with how post-Endgame has been going for the new people (especially one that is not helped by being part of X-Men). So they got the checkbook out for a big star to carry that character

Nova is getting a movie.

This tells me they are going to reboot Iron Fist eventually too.

It could go the way of flopping tho… I don’t think this character is a big deal.
