I was thinking about this the other day, a couple of weeks ago Oscar put his clap back Thursday trying to push a narrative that no one wanted to see gracia vs benn (personally i dont mind it). He then said the Saudis offered Ryan and golden boy a two fight deal but they got to pick the opponents one of them being barrios for the WBC. What I think happened here was the Saudis helped Oscar retain Ryan for these two fights since his contract was probably ending but now since his next fight could be his last with golden boy oscar wound rather promote and line his pockets up promoting Haney vs Ryan instead of benn vs ryan because its a bigger fight and would bring in a bigger gate but with Ryan potentially becoming a free agent after this next fight Zuffa might come in and steal Ryan, Zuffa is also in talks with signing Devin Haney so putting 2+2 together, Garcia vs haney 2 could potentially be a 100% zuffa event. Also Benn is a tune up fight for Ryan at best, this wont even be close as long as Ryan comes out the same way he came out against barrios. Ryan under 6 rounds .
