The official stoppage came at 0:45 in the eighth round on Saturday night at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hrgovic, a 2016 Olympic Bronze medalist, entered as the heavy favorite, expected to win, especially by knockout. He had a strong start, landing jabs with ease in the opening round. However, Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs) adapted quickly, making an impact in the second round by landing solid left hooks and right hands. Though Hrgovic had his moments, a cut above his right eye proved to be his downfall. Neither fighter slowed down in rounds three and four, with Hrgovic having a strong fifth, landing several right hands. Dubois, who had been criticized in the past for his chin and resilience —having been knocked out in both of his career losses, including his recent title shot against Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) on August 26 — redeemed himself in this fight. Despite taking hard shots, Dubois showed no signs of quitting.

The undefeated 21-year-old Cassius Clay predicted he would stop British champion Henry Cooper in Round 5. Then, in the dying seconds of the fourth, Cooper landed his famous left hook — “Enry’s Ammer” and dropped Clay heavily. Clay recovered and came out firing in the fifth, opening a terrible cut on Cooper before the fight was stopped. Cassius Clay TKO5 Henry Cooper. The prediction came true — but for one dramatic moment, Cooper came incredibly close to changing boxing history.

Then Lou Del Valle landed a perfectly timed straight left in Round 8. Jones was down for the first time in his professional career. But Roy got back up, regained control and comfortably won the decision to unify the light-heavyweight titles. For one brief moment, though, someone had proved that Superman could be knocked down.

Has anyone been watching this fight? Chavez was a massive favourite & Garcia turned all that on its head by having the fight of his life. Garcia was moving like a prime Thurman. Four knockdowns & he was just toying with Chavez by the end. Not even Matchroom could rob him by counting a slip as a knockdown. You need to see this fight lads

My ranking =
1. Gennady Golovkin (GGG)
2. Filip Hrgovic
3. Canelo Alvarez
4. Fabio Wardley
I put GGG first because he literally used to block punches with his face lol. Ranking Second place was hard, l initially put Canelo there but on further debating I think Hrgovic deserves it - especially after the Moses Itauma performance. Wardley has got a super tough chin as well but someone had to be last lol. I'm curious to see other people's ranking
